Yeah, the comic store markup is likely to be rather absurd. I wanna say $100 might be generous. $110-$120 wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Which is why this news means little to me, and I'll just keep my online preorder for this figure.

Although giving this figure a Hasbro US release has made it harder to order the TT version (since it's a TT Mall exclusive in Japan), which I would prefer in order to keep my collection more uniform. The sites I often use either won't carry it at all (Amazon Japan), or only offer the Hasbro version (BBTS). With a US version on hand and releasing simultaneously, I guess they aren't likely to bother getting a hold of the TT version. So far, only my MP-1 Optimus and Acid Storm are Hasbro release versions, and I like the TT box/packaging style infinitely more over Hasbro's. Just a nitpick, though it does annoy me slightly. Maybe, with the simultaneous release, the packaging will be about the same anyway?

Well, they still can potentially do Bluestreak+ and Smokescreen+ so probably not anytime too soon.

Generally speaking, anyone see any seller advertising with coin?

Yeah I just really want a nice beachcomber, or a browning, or a megatron marvel deco release.

    Those windows look kinda... Ugly?

Takara really needs to stop with their silly masturbation over a three decades old badly animated cartoon.

Newest shot of this guy is from Cordon's promo pics. Notice anything different about Prowl's gun? Wtf?! Sure hope that's not what we get! If so, this + release may be the one with the least attention to detail, what with his collar piece and shoulder/bicep hinges still being black. Can't help but wonder if it has anything to do with Hasbro's involvement. Maybe, maybe not. But... maybe.

Yeah, the gun's screws are what I was trying to point out. Sorry if I wasn't clear. Makes no sense to me that they'd be there now. Doesn't even seem like a cost saving measure.

Yeah, it's a big WHY? I had to go back and check my other datsun rifles.I'm hoping it's just a preproducton thing and will be corrected for release. It doesn't help being next to Cordon. I just don't think those two philosophies go that well together, totally toy and mostly toon. They really should have saved this for a proper release, unless they have another + bot they plan to release sooner versus later.

Yeah, it's interesting that both Prowl+ and Shockwave+ are both TT Mall exclusives (though Prowl will be distributed by Hasbro Asia/Hasbro and and Shockwave by Hasbro Asia outside of Japan). Wonder if Sideswipe+ sales did not meet expectations?

I want to say it was an interview where they mentioned the Lambor mold was a good seller, that may have been the reason they went with Sideswipe, as well as the Sunstreaker connection. I want to say its Sideswipe + and Sunstreaker on the back of MP39's box and Streaker and Prime.

    Stricter safety standards than Takara.

Hasbro’s Rodimus also had a Targetmaster, which was made especially for that release.

No one's complaining about the colour change, only the screws.

Maybe some kids tested playing with the gun, and they were able to pull it apart, or maybe the screws are holding together some new internal piece connected to the barrel to make sure it doesn't break off? No one knows, but it's a good guess that that has something to do with it.

Was it changed in the TRU version of MP Prowl? Surely any safety change would have also appeared on that figure?
