I got my replacement last week, and in general, everything is good. I mean, he's still fiddly and hard to transform, but no real QC issues.

Still a very, very nice looking and poseable bot.

 

Cool pic, but some of his joints are so oddly designed (especially the shoulders) that he just looks awkward sometimes.

You got a full replacement figure or just some parts?

Got mine in yesterday. Nothing broke or stripped while transforming it to truck... But I can't get it to peg in correctly from the side panels with the flexi hinge

 

This seems like a glorified remold/repaint of the transformes prime first edition Optimus prime...

 

That’s been said since the first real bot mode pics were released. They definitely share some engineering.

 

Mine came today. I'm pretty much liking everything except the bizarre shoulder articulation. I haven't transformed him yet (and to be honest, I may never) so I don't know if it's intentional, but the pauldrons completely block forward motion. You've got to move them out of their natural position to get any movement. Just odd...

 

Mine also came today, aside from the loose right side and front skirt armor the figure looks terrific. No issues in terms of missing or broken pieces.

 

If anyone has a junker or a figure they’re willing to part with, please let me know.

I need a replacement right arm and am willing to pay for it, seeing that my seller on ebay stopped responding and I will thus be able to claim a full refund.

So any of you are able to reclaim a good proportion of what you paid for him by selling me the right arm  

 

Picked mine up today! Bloody gorgeous figure, until I tried to transform him. Went fine until I tried to unfold the forearm panels, the connecting bar between the two panels on his left arm is deformed and won't hinge open, meaning no truck mode for me. I'm requesting a replacement, but part of me is wondering if I should just return him and put the value to UT Challenger.

I don't wanna give up on El Cid because I love how it looks, but I dunno...

 

Almost there... I think I managed to do the worst part just "fine" (I took me an hour though) ... Patience is your best friend!



After some struggling, the end result is worth it!

 

Received it today. No issues whatsoever except a couple of loose parts but managed to placed it back with no problem. Looks great!! Doubt that I will transform it though.

 

Any idea on how to put the shield on the back? Instructions show it but i can’t figure it out.

 

You connect the shield's main port to either one of these pegs. Also works with the adapter on.

 

Ended up canceling this guy. I'm a bit upset as i liked him.. but qc issues scared me to much. Will look at a v2 or the UT version now and see what's happening.

 

I purchased this guy. I loved this guy. Then I tried to transform this guy. My God. There are no words. Most challenging transformation ever. Brilliant figure, but way more than I can handle.

 

I manage to transform him (2h)... But one hinge got a stress mark... Nothing too serious, but it bugs me a bit... Otherwise, it's a great figure!

Honestly the robot it's amazing, and the vehicle it's decent, the transformation it's what kills it to me, however, i still have a bit of hope for this company.

i just want to see if they can pull off a peterbilt prime whose legs transforms into the cab, otherwise, i HOPE their Prime can be as accurate as this world can

 

They scale very well with each other.
