Got him today. Totally over priced rip-off but I'm glad he's finally back! :)

$260? WTF Takara? Really? For that stupid price I should've got both Metroplex AND Grand Maximus.

Isn’t that price pretty in line with takara titans?

Does it? I thought the voices were the same between the Hasbro and TakaraTomy versions.

I have all 3 (Hasbro retail, SDCC, and TakaraTomy) and seem to recall that.

Fortress Maximus has different voice clips between the various companies.

Voice is English just like Hasbro.

I dunno, probably. But it's definitely not worth almost $300. But I went full ret@rd & sold both of my Hasbro versions (that I only paid around $80 each for) when my parents died & then the bidders on ebay went completely fucking insane. So yeah, it stings but I'm happy to finally have him back in my collection.

It is for an exclusive one, it's the TTMall price plus some U.S. dealer mark-up. At least TFSource has a free shipping option, though.

    So it’s in English? Interesting.

TFS says it has Japanese clips but I’ve seen both English and Japanese comments on here. Does anyone have him in hand from TFS to confirm whether it’s English or not?

This is consistent with the first TakaraTomy Generations release. The sound clips were the same as Hasbro's.

The Legends version wasn't going to be any different.

Thanks guys! I was thrown off by the information listed on TFS’s page for the Legends reissue. It seemed odd to me that a reissue would be different and that they would have a new voice chip. I appreciate the reassurances!

I ordered him and will be selling my original Hasbro version. I didn’t have space at the time to display him and never even opened the packaging. I really wanted the SDCC version but am not willing to pay the aftermarket prices. This is what I wanted at a more reasonable price.

After being a little disappointed with Fort Max, I had tempered my expectations for Metroplex. I’m happy to say that I’m quite happy with this. His transformation, while still simplistic, is more involved than FM and you have a couple options with his arms in both alt modes. When I preordered the figure I also bought the DNA hands and feet kits as well as the Iron Factory Defense Squad which gives you a legends scale Six Gun and Slammer. He’s definitely my favorite Titan.

Sorry, I haven’t seen them at all. I bought mine back when they announced the reissue of Metroplex. Been sitting on them for months.

Well, finally went ahead and got this guy and... I like him. I like him a lot.

Yeah, he was crazy expensive, but for the past several months I was sure I was going to be getting one of the 3rd Party Omega Supremes instead. So price wise, it's not really any more than I planned to spend on a Titan sized TF anyway. And thinking back on the lore established by IDW, as well as re-reading Spotlight Metroplex (due to picking up Sixshot), I really felt like Metroplex is just a more important character, and more advanced looking, than OS.

Granted, it would have been nice to get him for only $80, but then I was broke when the original came out. Plus, the US version would have needed Reprolabels, the head upgrade, and an extra gun. The added paint details on this guy are great, and I love the chrome face (but am also glad the thighs are only silver paint). The only add-on I need for him are the hands, which BBTS will hypothetically be getting back in stock sometime in the next couple months.

I've got the Hasbro version. so it came down to a choice between grand max or Takara metroplex...i felt grand max was more important than another metroplex.
