Okay. Same claim. Except this is a different director. A different direction. It's got the 80s that people have been clamoring for. It's got Bee as a bug, that people have been clamoring for.

It's got different writers.

I get you hate these films and you're free to defend whatever you feel like you think needs to be justified, but at least see it first.

There's a lot of reasons to be excited for change. And not because some guy who no one can see said so either.

Of course, there will also be things you don't like, such as "pre-existing Bay designs" but that's this universe. It's best to either embrace it, or to ignore it. As it's part of the main universe, the designs probably won't be changing all that much.

He's going to have an influence regardless. It brought fans into this franchise. It helped those same fans branch out and enjoy other facets of the franchise.

I absolutely loathe the new TMNT cartoon. It's not what I'm used to. It's not what I grew up with. I get it. But I'm not in specific threads or forums throwing claims like "real fans" and such either.

We're all Transformer fans. It doesn't mean we have to like every single aspect of them. Nike Optimus Prime? Kiss Players?

 

How many people you think are gonna come out of the theater complaining how it was "too unoriginal" or something?

 

I have been constructive I've shown examples of what the design direction should go in.

Well I admit to being a Bay hater, maybe even bitter. 10 years of seeing poor live action Transformers Movies might do that.

I don't mean to be a troll, perhaps I come off that way to you.

 

I’m mostly with @Dinobot Snarl in having a severe distaste for what Bay did on a structural level to the franchise, but there are bigger problems in the world.

Be that as it may, I also have a bone to pick with Michael Bay on the level of style, too.

Mikey’s project of hyper realism tried its damenedest to deny Unicron, and he finally buckled, kinda, sorta but, especially, after it was already too late.

I think I saw the first two movies, and maybe I saw the third. They were all about as poorly written as Avatar and the latest Ridley Scott movies, and they were about as memorable as those fever dreams, too. So, I guess it’s a small miracle that they don’t really haunt me.

The Combiner Wars vids from Machinima are alright, but amateurish. I will get around to Titans Return eventually, but I’m really enjoying reading IDW’s MTMTE and RID! I also back tracked and read Last Stand Of The Wreckers and the Drift centric stuff to backfill a bit.

And, oddly enough, I saw some of Victory more than a decade ago or there about as a FanDub and it had better production than what’s been floating around in the franchise for years  

Erring towards the positive, again, Iron Factory’s work and a certain Rip Van Winkle of Autobots has my heart all a-flutter for cybertronians, again.

Most of all, there’s no active animation company that’s on top of their Super Robot Game besides Studio Trigger, and their designs do sell toys  

 

'Spose all we can do is hope.

Have they announced how long the movie will be?

My biggest issue with the franchise has been that the movies usually drag on for way too long. I would have enjoyed them a lot more if they were around 1:30-2 hours.

He doesn't go on transformer sites if he says that most fans want bots to look cartoony lego blocky bots and unrealistic aliens never had contact with humans on there home planet cybertron to have human faces that's what most fans to not have transformers be popular and successful over gijoe and thunder cats and not have movies make new transformers fans of people of today that's what most transformers fans want in there movies

 

Complaining that transformers have human faces is very silly because the core conceit of the franchise, that of transformation, is nonsense.

 

I'm gonna give Bumblebee a fair shot,but it's hard to be excited for this. Seems like all we hear about it is stuff regarding to Steinfeld's character.

 

They kept the same aesthetics, so I doubt I will love this movie. But if the movie itself might be actually great, that'd be nice.
