Just a thought, but what if Thundercracker is Destroyer?

 

Why would they release him as an exclusive and then do it again right after but not as an exclusive?

 

"Destroyer" appears to be a mislisted Bumblebee Movie Energon Igniters Nitro Series Barricade.

 

Entertainment Earth is trying to get Toys R US Hasbro exclusives. They just put up the TRU Vision and Scarlet Witch 2pak and my rep told me they are trying to get some others. So hopefully they get this as well.

 

Thundercracker has finally been spotted at some Houston, Texas Toysrus stores, so I contacted my local store to see whether there were any pending, and they said they showed truck deliveries to the stores in Austin. He's slowly getting around still.

 

This is showing up too much on ebay now.

Well, my stores are still without this and 2 out of 3 confirmed they won’t be getting anymore trucks in going forward since the liquidation has started. They didn’t know what’s happening with warehouse stock, but they had been notified that store shipments were coming to an end and the computers are all showing 0 of everything available at DCs.

If anyone happens to snag a spare on this guy, please let me know. No way I’m caving to those ebay prices for him unfortunately.

 

i know this is only marginally related, but how many's peoples tru's are having sales and how good are they? mine never got any thundercrackers and all their product i saw is either labeled at 10% off or excluded from the sales lol

 

Thats exactly what mine are at too. I read on Bloomberg yesterday that 3/23 was the start of the liquidation sales nationwide since the judge approved the final paperwork (was supposed to start Wednesday).

 

My experience is slightly different.

Target will restock Transformers ... two to three weeks after a sale. Like, there was a sale this past week, and nothing in the two Targets I managed to get to (other than a couple Jazz, a toy I don't even want). I anticipate the next bunch showing up in mid April. Of course it'll probably be the first wave again.

Walmart will get a ton of the first wave(s) ... then one box of the second and/or third, then get more of the first wave. And this applies to five stores in my area.  

 

My Toysrus was the same. 10% off, but the only decent transformers left are MPM4 and some POTP Wave 2 Legends. Still high in price.

 

What's the TRU item number?

 

Picked up 3 today at my local TRU. Bought one for myself, my brother and an extra one.

 

It looks ok. when I get mine ill have to try it with takaras version it would probably look a lot better with the darker blue.

 

Is the takara one still available anywhere?

 

I think tfsource might still have him and ravage for 13 plush shipping.
