I was about to say the same thing. Though, I'd prefer something a bit more unique than "G1 with more details." Sorta like Armada.

 

Yeah I'd be down with an Armada inspired Megsy. The antler/pinchers head look he had would definitely be cool to see on the big screen, but not actually look like dear antlers though.

 

As much as I love Armada, thaa's not quite what I meant.
What I was trying to say was Armada took a big departure from the classic designs, giving the line it's own style while still feeling like Transformers. That's what I want out of a movie reboot; unique designs that still take cues from previous incarnations of the franchise (and don't look like they're made out of a junkyard.)

 

Yeah I gathered what you meant, I just think it would be cool to see different head designs that buck the typical TF trends, except TF5 Hotrod. Kill it with fire. Plus we all know it was a princess Leia ROTJ helmet ripoff. I lived through G1, I don't want to continuously relive it. Honor the past but look towards the future and new experiences.

THAT is how movie Megs should\'ve looked! I know we won\'t see anything from the reboot in quite some time but I desperately hope we get designs that are more along this line. Faithful, yet modernized renditions of our beloved bots. This statue looks amazing, Tons of detail while maintaining a solid, coherent shape unlike the movie scrapheap designs.

Pretty cool but he looks half naked to me. Like he’s missing some of his armor plating for the sake of showing off all the working parts underneath. Still cool though.

 

XM is doing quite a good job with their G1-ish statues  
It's a pity that the figs are quite hard to find/buy! unfortunately the release seems to be Asia-only...

I still stand by the point that his head looks awful, however, everything else looks pretty cool.

 

...i presume 1:10 means he's going to be about seven inches tall, but really shouldn't he be more like four feet tall?..

 

i understand perfectly there is gravity out in space on metal planet where random piece of space debris can hit you at any random time if there was gravity on cybertron you see ships burning in atmosphere of planet on reentry happen on earth and other plants except for cybertron there will also be clouds, birds, fish, wind blowing on cybertron no gravity no air same as ocean,.

That head is ridiculously terrible.

 

That head is such a shame. Because everything else is utterly perfect. The sculpt work is incredible, the lights on the mace are sooo good, and most important of all: it has such an utterly incredible presence. I look at that and it just feels like Megatron. If only it had a headsculpt that is more based on G1 toon....

EDIT: Come to think of it. Give this guy the Prime One head, and it'd be perfect.
