They know I am a sucker for ebay bucks and have no will power whatsoever, bastards......

I've been testing it, it seems that EACH item in your cart has to be $150+ to qualify for 15%, and $50+ to qualify for 8%. The calculation isn't based on a total purchase amount of $50 or $150.

I checked and you can absolutely stack items from a single seller and when it gets to the check-out page the bonus bucks are there.

For example I added an item costing $46 to the cart and it said earn eBay Bucks 0.46c but when I added another item of the same price it incresed to $7.06 in eBay bucks on the checkout page.

I've not tried it with multiple sellers yet though.

 

Early on they had a bunch of Ramhorns, people were picking them up in bulk

 

It depends on the location. Some stores got Wave 6 (with Ramhorn), while others got Wave 5.

 

Hmm. Your experience does not match mine. I added two items from the same seller ($27.88 and $39.99) in IE and my cart said I would receive 68c in eBay Bucks. I clicked Proceed to Checkout and that page said I would receive...68c in eBay bucks. The mobile site shows 68c. The app shows 68c. Looks like they "fixed" it (or "broke" it, whichever word you prefer).

 

That's how i got hosed during this promo.
I did 3 items totaling over 50, from 3 separate sellers, in one cart purchase.
It did not get me the $50 min. for the 8%.
It treated them as if the total was solely for single seller purchases.
Got a couple things i wanted but will be much more wary when the next one of these pops up.
