I got the planet junk set. With the superb repaints of the main figures, Wreckgar and Junkheap as well as the Hotrod figure with a far better paint scheme. I don't regret them 1 bit even if it was a high price. Now that set is on sale. And really tempted to buy another set, just for some more junkions. Though now with CW Wreckgar I will wait and get that instead. Junkions are just awesome. Only wished they did more paint differences and just some different heads. Getting multiple of these CW Junkions would be awesome. Just need a fitting torso other than an attempt at G2 Defensor.

Supposedly it's a Walgreens exclusive, if it's just Wreck-Gar it'll be $17.99 or $18.99, as for when Who knows?

If it's just Wreck-Gar himself, I think the price for Brainstorm was $20. If he comes with something additional (like a Prime Master) I expect the price will get higher.

 

Again, actually look at the post I quoted, I was referring to a post where someone said the planet of junk set was on sale now, as in cheaper than it’s original price, though I do appreciate you sharing the info you have about Walgreens wreckgar  

 

Just checked - BBTS and TFSource had it on sale, but sold out. Not sure when they actually went on sale. Ebay has several "Buy It Now" with free shipping for $60 (I'm in the US, not sure what that would be for other countries). I'm almost tempted at that price.

 

$60 isnt too bad, id have to compare that against what it would cost for two single pack junkheaps or wreckgars. thanks for pointing me in a direction  

 

It'd be nice if Has/Tak said "hey, since we're making some small new tooling for this POTP Wreck-Gar, why don't we add a few more unique junkion heads to the mold, and have a few different paint schemes in mind for future exclusives..."

 

Honestly the figure should just come with two extra heads.

Well in my country at TFrobots it is on sale. The set here goes for 70 euros that is about 86 dollars.

But like above amazon is a much better place internationally.

I just grabbed the planet junk box set on Amazon for 39.99

20 for each junkion is not bad...though buying a hot rod to trash or sell kinda sucks.

 

That hotrod has the finest and best paint job of all the molds uses. Wouldn't actually toss it away. Btw seen the henkei hotrod go for more than 20 dollar second hand. And this one is better. Also, the junkions don't have faction symbols, I love that. It really is a movie accurate design on both of those.

 

Well...my set arrived and just like my original it broke in 10 minutes. Scrapheap went fine and then wreckgar broke exactly where my last one did. Translucent plastic rubs that damn ball socket and breaks off. Luckily it can be glued and one would never know.

It's funny, I always pictured the blocky mold would look better for Wreck-Gar, than his original mold. But now that they really made it, I think it looks weird. The head is so small, it's missing the antennas on his chest and in general they could have made a little more retooling.

 

Yeah. They could have given him a bit more attention.

 

Except that's not what the point of him and Inferno (or even Ratchet) would be. It's a new head on a body that works for what they're trying to accomplish. The alternative would literally have been an orange Groove.
