Man, this figure might as well been sold as a build kit. Turns out that over half the pictures I've seen that have made me consider buying Meteor have all been customized and/or "fixed" in some form or another.

 

Dang! I was hopeful for something like this but didn't expect it to start actually taking shape. Freaking awesome!   This is going to be a nice little addition. Really appreciate your work.

 

Test parts ran and testing some different paint schemes

 

Try matte or satin black

 

Definitely a matte finish. You need to post a Meteor along side the painted parts for a colour comparison.

 

For the record, my not caring enough wasn't like, "Damn, Meteor is so bland! But jream's shin thrusters aren't cool enough!" It's actually "those shin thrusters jream made are pretty cool, and he matched the paint really well! Perhaps I should order some! Then again, the cartoon-accurate blue trapezoids don't really bother me and I'm kind of lazy, so I probably won't."

 

Yup did one in satin black and it looks the best.

I was toying with the idea of buying the shin vents for my incoming Meteor but would rather buy the vents and fans as a set. Is it too early to ask for an ETA?
