Actually, speaking of desert camp, I do hope they do a Ruination version at some stage. I think I'll definitely have to pick that up after all even though I try not to double-dip on moulds, especially when they're straight repaints.

 

Not sure how I missed that. Thanks! Wasn't sure Zeta stuck to the original tank but guess they did. Time to contemplate the colour scheme. I'm not the biggest fan of the Ruination look, compared to the 'normal' version. Although I'm not sure what the 'official' Ruination is, there's like 10 versions?

I’ve ordered Brawl, Vortex, and Blast Off from Robotkingdom, but I haven’t seen pre-orders for Swindle or Onslaught show up there yet? I think TFSource has Swindle listed, but does anyone know if RK isn’t carrying the rest of the Zeta Combaticons?

 

I'm sure they will. They have some kind of deal with zeta and get the figures first by a day. Besides RK sells alot of them

 

My friend told me, ZTEA 03 Swindle will come to next month, April of end.

BUT Onslaught is after TFCON-18.

July doesn't seem beyond the realms considering we'll have an Aerialbot or two between Swindle and Onslaught most likely.

I know ShowZ has him up for pre-order because Swindle is due out at the end of the month. All the normal retailers will be carrying them. Just have some patience. Everyone keeps asking about pre-orders as if they're going to miss out or something...

I doubt it. We've only seen a resin prototype of Silverbolt whereas Swindle and Onslaught have basically been ready to go for months - especially Swindle.

Considering we've been seeing coloured test shots (or possibly production samples, given how complete some of them look) for a while now, I'd say there's no way in hell we'll be waiting until July. I really think Zeta will have Onslaught out in April, or May at the very latest. July is an awfully long wait.

Also, IF they release any of these at TFcon first, I'll be pissed. I hate when convention-goers get special early exclusives. It's not like I have thousands of dollars to fly across the world and attend (because I'd totally go to a TFcon or such if I could, but I can't). It's always seemed really unfair to me. Unfair, that is, usually to anyone outside of North America (and even then, Canada often gets screwed too).

not me. no guarantee they will ever do a box set or other decos. That kinda stuff only happens if a product does really well. The only guarantee is that one or more figures will sell out completely and not be able to buy a whole set if you wait too long.

Waiting? No. But I DO want a Ruination out of this. They'd probably only have to change the colours too (okay, Rollbar and Ro-Tor would still have the wrong alt modes but oh well, I'll have to live with it).

I think this will do well enough to at least warrant a box set though, if not a repaint or two.

They might do the former (but I doubt it - go with Unique Toys if you want pure cartoon Bruticus), but the latter is certainly not going to happen. MMC and Unique Toys are what you want for that.

 

I plan on painting thighs/designing a chest plate so if enough ppl make noise like they did when I did Devastator's cartoon nods who knows.
