Well we know how the combiner is gonna work since we’ve seen the arms and the legs will be the same as constructor.

What do you want to know about the combined mode? We know he's a pantsformer, we expect all the Superion/Bruticus bits will come with Silverbolt/Onslaught.

I was just being sarcastic. Really tired. Working and just moved last week. Now I'm helping my gf parents move to their new place. I don't do the voices. Just really like posing them. I do little skits at the end of my reviews

It's mainly about the details. He'll have the same articulations as Constructor? Silverbolt ends up as just a backpack or is a structural part of the combiner? From the pictures we can be reasonably sure about these combiners work, but I want final confirmation before committing to a 300+ euro set.

Since onslaught appears to have a newly designed waist piece (which is weird since he is bigger and wouldn’t need something to fill space), they will be holding the shoulders in place as they would and forming the main body chunk and back.

Pretty much this. We've already seen the back of Bruticus and how Onslaught folds:

I imagine Silverbolt will fold up very similarly. Both combiners look to have the abs as part of the waist/thighs.

I consider transforming them 'playing', mostly because I make the "tschu-tschr-tschu-tschu" sounds as I'm doing it.

It’s also playing if you invite your friend over and to play battle and you win every time

Probably. Don't knock Torsotron, man. He's ABSolutely the BREAST member of the team. He emBODIES the CORE of what it means to be a combiner and SHOULDERs the greatest burden of them all. Just wanted to get that off of my CHEST.

All silliness aside, I would have preferred the torso to have been an extension to Onslaught's trailer rather than a load/minibase, but at least it turns into SOMETHING as opposed to Toyworld Devastator's Robot Pants.

Well, Shortsonok was not that big of a part of the combiner. Just the shorts :D  It kind of feels like cheating imo. Other companies try their best to make due with five bots, but this is partsforming at its worst maybe second only to Omega Supreme in the G1 toon.

    That said, still looks good.

Which I thought I'd hate but since we saw it a while back, I think I've made my peace with it, and to be honest, I'm okay because it doesn't form that much more than the waist and chest plate. Onslaught and Silverbolt still become the majority of the torso, including the back and the shoulders. If it was a full-on hollowed-out shell that you put them inside where you never saw them, that'd be another thing entirely I think.

Reading the various posts on here does not instill a lot of confidence in Zeta's QC processes... not their customer support.

Great Designs - Quality Control Issues / Limited to No Customer Support = Frustration and Headaches

I was really hoping to have a fully realized 20 - 21 inch Superion combiner before the end of 2018... but now I may elect to sit this one out.

Well, maybe by 2019 they will iron out any of the QC issues with Flyfire and any other figures...

...and maybe, just maybe, they will all be released as a box-set like the way TW Constructor C-07 was.

Lessons learned here are that I think I prefer saving up for the box-set release so that I am not hunting down some "one-off" figure so that my Bruticus has two legs or some shit like that.

The only collectibles I can deal with hunting down, are back-issues of comics. And even then... these days, I only buy TPB collected editions.

But if I had bought individual ToyWorld Constructor figures, and missed Unearth because he went "out-of-print", I would be as mad as Bruce Banner!!!

Picked up their version of Air Raid. Definitely impressed and the price point is right on. Not planning on getting the whole team just yet, was never a big fan of the other Aerialbots

Yeah I hope they come in a box set to. That’s always been my preferred option.

I don't know why some on here critique Zeta's Aerialbots so much, for me these are better than most 3P figs, believe me KFC's Crash Hog was a complete floppy mess, but after I worked on him he became one of my favorites, and both Air Strike and Fly Fire have no where near the problems Crash Hog did it just astounds me why some say things about them. All I can say is if you are unhappy with them then just get rid of them, simple as that.

Woo, Air Raid arrived earlier. I'm gonna crack him open then report back. Hopefully I have no QC issues.

Though I admit the QC issues are problematic, there haven't been any widespread breakage issues so far, and not everyone has had problems. Fireflight's hips seem to be the most widespread problem so far but I'm still curious about what the exact problem is. Mine should be here tomorrow so I might be able to figure it out.

That all said, I haven't really seen anything worth waiting on these for. There's no guarantee a box set will be released, after all, and they're fairly readily available at the moment so it's not that hard to send a figure back if you have to (even though that is a pain). Most of it so far has been a missing wing or wings, or two of the same part sort of problem. Those problems definitely do need to be sorted out, but I don't think the figures are a write-off because of it. If Fireflight's hips were sheering in two, I might be singing a different tune.

Keep in mind, if people have a bad experience with a product, they are more likely to talk about it than people who have good experiences. There's been issues for sure, but I think it's safe to say many more people, myself included, have been very pleased with Zeta so far.
