I'm just a little surprised they released Sarge with shoulders that weak. You would think that would have been discovered during the testing phase. I'm still thinking about going in on this set though. As others have stated, it would appear to be easily corrected.

 

Just try tightening the screws in the arm. Helped a lot for me

 

Is GT Streetwise IDW inspired or semi inspired?

If not, at least it was designed in a way to be IDW compatible.

I think their Gravity Builder was based on one of the designs from IDW or a fan art.

 

Semi. IDW Streetwise has his hood on his chest and turns into a Nissan GT-R, not a 370Z. Sarge has some of the IDW version's details, like the bumper knees and Prowl's alt-mode paint job, but he's slightly more G1-ified with the windshield chest.

 

Received my copy today. The instruction sheet doesn't come sealed inside a bag or something and it doesn't come with a collector card... Is that ok?!

There is a spring with a white piece attached under the car mode... Is it normal that it isn't locked into place?!

I dont own the figure (yet) as i havent decided if im in on this set or not

 

Mine is the same, it doesn't lock. I'm not sure what it's for, maybe the combined mode? At any rate, it doesn't negatively affect transformation or either mode.

Really digging him in both modes. He's a little tall, but it's ok.
Transformation is typical GT/TFM. Not frustrating and even satisfying in some places.
I'd be all in if I was looking for Defensor. As it is, I'm happy with stand alone carbot Streetwise.

I want a defensor but im trying really hard not getting into another combiner. Maybe if a better coupon comes out ill snag him from ebay.

 

Yeah I got Sarge from the 20% sale for $60, otherwise wouldn’t have gotten him. Was going to get Copter as well on preorder but didn’t have the funds.

 

According to TCP, the three other limbs are supposed to be in next Wednesday... sooo where are the colored pictures? Yeah, probably not going to be in next Wednesday.

 

Yeah considering on eBay, all the Chinese sellers only have the Copter for preorder with prototype pics.

 

I am not so sure about this set yet ... Hotspot hip transformation doesn't give me enough confidence.

 

Hi. The springy tab kept pushing out the windscreen chest in robot mode, so I rotated it 180º and pushed it in a bit. It now stays in and can be pulled out with a fingernail no problem.  

 

Awesome I will be sure to look into this on my Sarge once he arrives. Don't mind the springy bit even if I cant do it.
