It's crazy how this feel's more interesting than the upcoming Unicron story does. But I think that's due to me hating most of OP's crew on that ship (Save for Soundwave and Wheeljack).
What spark? He shouldn’t have one. He’s a drone. He was built to be a sparkles killing machine by Chief Justice.
Well, they both look like the letter "O." (Either that, or else no one has bothered telling me that they only see consonants in my avatar....)
Maybe the issue will go into detail about how a drone like Ten managed to have a Spark when he really shouldn't?
I share this sentiment if he's really gone, but the fact that the death happened so early into the issue it doesn't seem that way. Almost like another mystery to figure out until the issue comes out. Then again there was Pipes...
I thought it was confirmed a while back that Ten and the rest his kind were never drones, but victims of shadowplay and the like to be servants to Tyrest.
I feel pretty confident he's actually dead, especially with that speech. Ten is similar to your Ambulons and your Pipeses: enough of a character for their death to have an impact on the other characters, but not enough of a character that they actually had any story threads of their own beyond their debuts (or, in Ten's case, beyond his reveal as a sapient being).
It's sad that Roberts has us at the point where something as explicit as that is doubtful in its finality. Remember when he'd just kill people in meaningful ways? Now it's either you die a stupid, pointless Wreckers death or you get a heartfelt scene that goes to waste when you inevitably return.
Anyone think there is a significance to the different light colours for each room? Tailored to how they feel when they wake up? I don't socialise with a lot of Transformers but I'm pretty sure Rodimus and Cyclonus are making different faces upon seeing the Matrix. Course the lights are different pre-reveal and I'll admit my last MTMTE book was 22 yesterday with the optic colour spectralist conversation. Still there must be a reason, even if that reason is just "X looks better backdropped against Y.
I don't disagree with you, but to be fair at least in this case whatever is happening seems to be in some kind of surreal 'dream' space.
Ok so the eldritch horror in the sky rips out your spark if you are satisfied and happy. Good to know.
