Welcome! I hope this line goes on for a while. No shortage of movie guys in need of updates/proper figures.

 

I’m wondering if some of the QC issues people are observing aren’t a result of the reshuffling the line went through when the bee movie was pushed back? We know production usually takes place 4-5 months before release, assuming these figures are worked on a wave at a time, and knowing that the release date was changed about a year ago...they may have been scrambling to get was was originally intended to be deluxe waves 3 and 4 ready for release by toy fair. Would also explain why we heard absolutely nothing official about this line until very recently, and why deluxe wave 2 only has 2 new molds in it. And we do know for a fact that the bee movie figures were initially planned to be released in the first part of the line, but some kind of late stage reshuffle took place (see brand team interview from toy fair)

 

there were leaks that had dates leading to even last year apparently that had these figures in wave one. wave 1 and 2 have been the same for a while, so they didn't re shuffle them. like the leaks have images of characters and all of them are exactly like they are being released. (yes that means waves 2 is lockdown , jazz, stinger again and another bee). but i would say the qc is them rushing them out for toy fair.

 

Did everyone expected a whole new engineering with SS Voyager Starscream?
Yeah, he may be a blown-up DOTM version but there are elements to the new release that got updated.

 

People love to complain, gets old, but never goes away. people even complain they have gotten smaller, yet they haven't, (maybe some of the deluxes). People just get bored and think "well, i have to annoy someone today, time to complain that this looks like a copy of that other toy." my opinion is of course it looks similar, its based of the same freaking movie model, some things just have to transform a certain way to look the best they can.

Well the jet mode is much slick and streamlined compared to DOTM version.
It's hard to pass. Now i'm worried for the MPM version. It will be much expensive than MPM-4 or MPM-6 considering the scale.

 

exactly why i don't go for mpm's personally, way to expensive for me. so this line is perfect for me, way cheaper, scales well, and looks to be fun to mess with toys.

 

I recently picked up crowbar and stinger from wave 1 deluxes. No interest in bb or ratchet. Of the rest only lockdown and blackout interest me. Never liked the movie designs of Megatron or screamer. I have too many prime movie figs, jazz looks ok but I'll pass on him to.

Id love it if we got lockdowns ship as a play set but it won't happen

 

Okay so, the first four are available on the american Hasbro toy store but I wanna know, what about the European Hasbro toy store? Is there any information about that, because I can\'t find anything.
And I really want the bumblebee figure
