There have been a lot of QC control issues with recent Legends figures. Most of mine are fine, so I've been lucky, but my Slugslinger looks like the tabs on his arms with break off if I ever try to transform him again (I've turned him into a jet a grand total of once) and my Soundwave can’t close his back panel properly and there’s a huge stress mark across it. Those are just my personal
examples of the types of problems that people have been having... there are a lot more reported in the different figures' individual threads. Overlord especially had a lot of issues.

Man I feel like I lucked out on both figures you mentioned. Not dismissing them as common issues (dunno how widespread they are) but somehow both my Slugslinger and Overlord turned out completely solid. I'm curious though if Overlord's issues were just on the tailfins or elsewhere; the Takara one seems to have the vertical tailfins universally swapped hence they can't fold over like one would expect them to.

Funny enough Blastoff was also the example I used.
Was Hasbro's Magnus Prime any better than Ginrai though? I didn't hear much about that one for some reason.

    You're absolutely right!

F'r'instance, the individual figures in my Takara Computron are the floppiest bloody figures I've ever owned!

Probably because a lot of the Magnus Primes went straight from the box set to eBay.

However, the one I had was pretty good. No heel issues. I'm sure whoever I sold it to enjoyed the figure.

So just to confirm. There’s no point waiting for Takara’s version of Predaking because it’s all the same as Hasbro’s now, right?

Ah I get it they knew Toysrus was liquidating that's why they decided to team up with Takara, to lower costs. They are set to lose about 10% of toy business due to TRU liquidation.

    LoL

Weird thing to say, considering that Trypticon is still on shelves around Tokyo up to 60% off his original price. Meanwhile, Devastator is hard to find even on the second hand market.

This doesn't mean that Takara's Terrorcons may be out before we here in the States get the last 3?

More on that Sinnertwin mold, I think It would look great with one head, so yeah a Carnivac would be awesome. But Sinnertwin eh his bot head looks just okay.

This mold Needs to be properly milked. I know some will disagree but I'd like Twinferno too.

Difference between countries I suppose, but in the U.S. Trypticon sold out most places and still sells for a high price, while Devastator dropped bellow $100 on Amazon at one point (obviously he's unavailable now, but was plentiful in stock two years ago).

The gimmick didn't "ruined" primal, neither it made it "far from specetacular". It made him fricking fresh and better.

The lack of announcement of any of the minor retools (Rodimus Unicronus, Tailgate, Outback, Firestar), makes me wonder if they'll even bother with them.

No Firestar would seem like a big misstep to me.
