Best guess based on the info we have about the bee movie, and the fact that we know the “collector style” figures will be part of the audio series.

 

The more I think about it I think your right in terms of characters I mean we were never promised new characters we / I assumed some would be new.

So the line up could very well be

Bumblebee
Barricade
Hotrod
4th ? Optimus

 

Voyager Steelbane when?

 

In this line? Probably never. The knight most resembling steelbane in the film was the 13th that crashed at the beginning of TLK, and he was tiny.

Otherwise you’d be looking at a Dragonstorm made up of 12 voyager class bots...so Titan + pricepoint wise. Would probably only happen as part of the new crowd funding service.

 

What makes you think that? We don’t know who exactly will be in the wave, and if there are from the Bumblebee movie, they’ll get new moulds, even if it is Barricade and Hot Rod.

There was no confirmation of that, a lot of us just assumed the rally car would be an Autobot. And if you think about it, Slash got as far as concept art and got a new mould, while we’ve never seen any concept art for Rollbar and his figure was just a Generations repaint. Even the one step looked pretty G1 generic than a proper movie design. I know people say you can’t see the driver when the car first pulls up so that means it was meant to be a transformer, but honestly, if the character was cut while they were literally in the middle of filming, I think we would’ve seen some evidence, especially given we’ve seen plenty of concept art of things that never made it into the movie at all.

 

Plus he didn’t have an alt mode in the movie, and they’re trying to go for accuracy, and the made up dragon was a bit of a disaster. I don’t think that even that particular knight in the movie was 100% like Steelbane, the toy seemed to be a direct copy of concept art.

 

There’s stilll that red car (forgot what model) that Travis Knight posed with in a pic from last year or the year before (can’t remember when it was). I personally think the theory of it being the movieverse version of Knockout could be possible. Perhaps that one is one of these figures?

 

This is my first time reading that they're named after Australian race horses. Don't recall that being reported.

Shame that these code names don't work like G.I. Joe code names. Or even the board game Clue (a missed opportunity since Hasbro makes/owns Clue  ).

rollbar, the character whose toys were A) a repaint of a generations toy and B) a onestep with a totally different design? he was supposed to appear in the movie? you sure about that?

 

This sounds interesting, but really if I had to pick one, just give me a Voyager Class Bonecrusher.

I think he means the Chevy Sonic, which was originally meant to be a TF. As far as I know, the character never had its own name until the Farmageddon Crosscut redeco and never had an original design.

Yep. Brief but its there.

 

The one where it's first driving up to the barn, I believe.

...You know, Shane's character might've been a little more sympathetic if he'd been protecting an Autobot from Cemetery Wind like Cade was. I'm sure there's something that could've been done with that to make him not be a total asshole. If only...

 

Who knows? Maybe it could be the McLaren Car or the Aston Martin from the movie where they got lead to Stinger, Junkheap (Sad he will never get an updated figure) and Galvatron on that one scene from AOE. But, The Trax Vehicons make more sense. I love them!

 

Rremember that this line is attempting scale. Jetfire would need to be a leader class figure.

Though I can’t see that as proof that it was going to be a transformer. For one thing, like I said, if they cut the character literally in the middle of filming, we would’ve seen some concept art, and like Slash, any figures would be based on that art, plus even Bay would just reshoot that shot; and secondly, whether or not it was a transformers, Shane was still going to be there in the car so it would still be a question of a seemingly empty car which then suddenly had Shane in it. I think it was more an odd diretcoral choice, to somehow throw the audience off, though to what end is a mystery. Oh well, I guess we’ll never know for sure.

(This isn’t me arguing “I’m right, you’re wrong”, just giving my thought process   )
