The more I mess with the combined mode the more I wish Perfect Effect would bump the price up on 23 and add new hip ratchets unless that's what they mean by "gear joint". The originals are so mushy.

 

Gear joint is their new foot peg system, since the older feet's ball points were not always perfect. Given how close the engineering is to CW's I bet Nonnef's ratchets will work in some of the voyagers, sans Grimlock as he is getting whole new thighs which would include new ratchets by default.

 

I meant new universal joint pieces that attach the thighs to the crotch. Will have to see if Nonnef has something that will work.

 

Probably so they can shrink all the infomation on people and money.   lol

 

To be honest ID just get the replacement Dino legs and Thighs cause the look so good but Ill probably have to get it all.

though until i complete volcanicus and get to see him in person, Im not sure if i want him displayed as Volcanicus or as the team of DinoBots.

i guess that will help me decide if i want the whole upgrade or just the parts for Grimlock

 

Has anyone seen an update on release for any of the parts? Hand/feet upgrades still March? Upgrade parts still April? Please be soon!

I am planning on at least getting the PE kit for the torso and sword, and probably whatever Nonnef releases since his designs are solid, well crafted, and inexpensive. I like my Dinobots to have their G1 weapons and also be well armed.

 

Maybe a stupid question, but would they work with TR and CW combiners?

 

PC-21 & PC-22 (hands and feet) I believe would work with any CW/TR combiners as I think it is just a standardized port. PC-23 is more specific to Volcanicus, especially the Grimlock extension pieces, so I don't think you'd be able to use that on anything else really.

The new PE kits are compatible with TR ansd CW since they all have 5mm ports but PC-22 is solely for Volcanicus (swords will with any other figures).

 

PC-22 is the hands and feet for Starscream's combiner. PC-23 is the upgraded thighs and arms for Grimlock plus the sword(s).

BBTS just pushed arrival to APRIL for PC-21 and -22. Dammit! I know April is only a few days away but I was hoping to start upgrading Volcanicus sooner.  

 

i hope Volcanicus still has waist swivel with this add-on kit.

Man, where are the Terrorcon kits....

 

Perfect Effect may not have enough terrorcon limbs yet to make an add-on kit.

 

The only real work it needs is for Hun-gurrr. You could just G1 match the hands/feet color.

 

For the Terrorcons, just re-color the Volcanicus hands and feet in pink; problem solved.
