Was this confirmed? If so then I'm honestly bummed because that means we may not get the chance to see the remaining G1 fembots get figures along with a possible retool of POTP Grimlock into BW Megatron. I hope they're at least being made as exclusives so we can still get what was cut from the waves in some fashion then not at all.

 

I think it was confirmed in the Toyfair interview,also I believe The design team said that wave 4 was it but there are a ton of exclusives to come.

I didn't get any TLK figures 'cause they were either poo or my brother had them.

 

I do like Inferno well enough, since I never bothered with the Universe mold (despite owning the Grapple, Hot Spot, and Pyro versions) and he looks pretty good in those colors. Whoever suggested using him as Cab/Hosehead is making the right call since the mold works pretty well for that, and since I have that 3P Fire Convoy coming soon from the same mold I'm about to have more fire trucks than I know what to do with. Either way this guy is gonna wind up in my Lost Light shelves next to CHUG Grapple and I won't be too salty about it.

Outback looks friggin' great, too. I've always had a soft spot for the 86 minicars, and I'm stoked to see him show up to hang out with that really good Tailgate. And since I've learned to not get my hopes up about Hubcap, I'm going to have to content myself with continuing to use Roadburn as his G2 version.

 

Wait what? What 3P Fire Convoy from this mold? I need to see this.

 

That leaves me a bit more optimistic. I know some are annoyed BotCon/Fun Pub are now done, but Hasbro proper has a bigger budget for retools than just new heads, so that could mean obscure or underrepresented characters as exclusives outside the regular play pattern lines.

I'm super stoked, I always thought that mold would make a sick Fire Convoy and now I have the modern Leader-sized version to prove it!
