alt mode please..

 

One of the many great strengths MechP has is their headsculpts, widely praised with their Bigbee and Irontin. As it stands i don't think this guy is going to do the same yet. Again really hope they do the other head.

Same. I vote to keep the head they've shown.

 

Think it is a shame, the "potato" head could do with some refinement but it is much closer to the source, and actually not many head sculpts get that close and all their other designs have been close to the source. The other is boring, generically not that accurate.

I said my piece, if it is still there on final i guess i probably will look to swap it out. It's worth making the point because why come all this way with a great design and fail on the head.

 

The current head will look good in a Nemesis repaint

 

Come on I hope we can maybe have a choice of heads, happy, angry, but in any case Mech Planet hurry up and take my money!

Though still gott a wait for MFT megatron so not that much of a rush.

Hot Soldiers(mech planet) is mostly an unknown on realease dates now that Hotsoldiers the designers have split with Mech the producers. Only the goldbug looks to be as expected as it is still under Mech side of things but i think the other designs, Clif and Optimus here maybe subject to set backs. Maybe not but i fear it is to be expected given the upheaval.

 

I've been wondering how that split would affect this line and if it'd really continue beyond what we'd seen before the announcement.

 

Yeah until they announce what is happening release wise best assumption is delays.
I assume hot soldiers will keep what hasn't been released yet...

 

Out of curiosity where did you read about them losing some designers?

As for delays etc. - I think there is far too much money to be made for whomever owns this line to not get the talent they need to continue asap. Personnel changes are a lot more manageable than if they'd gone bankrupt or something.

 

Mech Planet announced the split on Facebook or weibo, I can't remember. I think there's a screenshot of it here on the forums too. It was just within the past month.

This is interesting - it looks like there will be two lines from here on out - the Hot Soldiers series will potentially continue with some other partnership, and the Mech Planet line under the new name Pocket Warrior.

 

I uh... yes, that's perfectly clear.  

 

No problem. Yeah it will be interesting to see how they proceed and what figures come out of which line.
