So semi off topic, but semi on topic, but anyway,

What’s all this I keep hearing and seeing tidbits about POTP being super short? Was something regarding it announced by hasbro at toy fair? Unfortunately I completely missed it if they did, I haven’t really been able to find a coherent answer so far, and I’ve tried combing through the toy fair threads but couldn’t find anything solid as far as information.

Combiner Wars and Titans Return were both 18 month long themes. Heck, for TR we got TWO Titan Class figures. But POTP will end with Wave 4, and the only new deluxe we know of in that wave is Firestar. Optimal Optimus is the last leader, there aren’t any combiners betond Abominus. Inferno is the last known torso. Etc. There are unannounced exclusives and a few announced ones (Repugnus, Blast-Off, someone else I’m forgetting). But Hasbro has said that the play pattern could appear jn future lines now that the technology has been developed, but the POTP theme will end by 3rd quarter of this year.

That's so weird, given that we've seen tooling for Monstructor as well as (probably) the Seacons.

Thank you very much for the clarification! I must have completely missed that in all of the toy fair news.

Ya I could easily see them doing monstructor/dinoking and piranacon as box sets similar to the G2 combiners they did for combiner Wars. I certainly hope they do at least. Cause that was the big other thing I was hoping for out of POTP was the seacons. And a leader star saber would be amazing down the line too.

Counterpunch apparently was another announced likely "online exclusive" with Repugnus and Blast-Off. Man, I'm quite disappointed since I still desire an accurate Liokaiser..

Just asking for a friend, but he's looking for some LEGO Star Wars: The Last Jedi sets in San Jose Targets and Walmarts and wishes to know which stores have them. Well, specific ones would be the walker set.

Could be unannounced exclusives. I think the boxsets sold well for CW and TR, so I suspect we’ll see boxsets for this line as well. Could carry it through the dry period after the main line runs out of steam and before WFC takes its place.
Counterpunch! That’s who I was forgetting. I’m pretty happy with my P/CP from the club all those years ago, but I wouldn’t mind one with a better head, assuming it, too, could transform between Autobot and Decepticon modes.

I hope it'll be really good. I like the concept of the character. It's quite interesting actually...

Assuming you mean this: LEGO Star Wars First Order Heavy Assault Walker LEGO®  Star Wars™ The Last Jedi First Order Heavy Assault Walker™ 75189 - Target Inventory Checker - BrickSeek

Try these (need to input your zip code, but also check Walmart or Target website to confirm whether particular stores show up as having it in stock)

Walmart - LEGO Star Wars First Order Heavy Assault Walker 75189 - Walmart Inventory Checker - BrickSeek
Target - LEGO®  Star Wars™ The Last Jedi First Order Heavy Assault Walker™ 75189 - Target Inventory Checker - BrickSeek
