Yes, that one. Spoiler This version of Lotor already identified his mother as Honerva, Zarkon's (consenting) Altean wife who became Haggar (though he doesn't know that). It's more a question how he's been alive for 10,000 years, unless he went into stasis too.
the lions be like amplifier artifacts for their respective pilots natural abilities folks , limited only to the pilots intelligence and imagination(think green lantern for example)
Okay partially through the new season.. Spoiler Lotar appears to take out his father and might be good Haggar finally appears to remember he's her son telling them to activate a project Which I'm guessing is whatever they did to Shiro. He starts acting weird, and it appears she can see through his eyes if I'm guessing correctly. Power struggle between Galra generals Lotar wins the official version, but still infighting. I'm wondering if Haggar gets a hold of Lotar and brainwashes him or douses him with quntessence or something and we end up with the psycho Lotar from the old Cartoon. Lotar doesn't believe or is in denial she's his mother. Or his end may come in his quest for Quntesscence he ends up as crazy as Daddy. Update....Keith finally meets Mommy Yep pretty clear Haggar is controlling or influencing Shiro, can see through his eyes Update...... Ending feels like they just dropped us mid season, not bad, but not great. No more episodes till June 15th, gonna be a long wait. Going to bed now.
I haven’t started watching yet but when I saw that the season was only 6 episodes I was really dissapointed.
Yeah, I don't think anyone likes the way they're releasing episodes now. They say that it means they can get them out faster, but it just seems more annoying than anything else.
Did they drop another mini season? I'd rather just wait and get a proper full season, rather than these 6 episode ones.
Just 6 episodes and no Keith doesn't get the black lion back yet, but the way the story seems to be heading, we may see that by the end of the June episodes.
Count me in the camp that just wants a proper 13 episode season. Or whatever the episode number was originally.
Well, a lot of us prefer Shiro. I hope Keith stays with the Blades and the real Shiro comes back from....wherever he is.
There is some character growth with Lance this season, Shiro has stuff happening, some revelations for Keith, Lotar introduces a new dynamic to the group, and Allura embraces her heritage more. Pidge's story arc gets some closure, and Hunk is more or less the same. Also the Galra get more interesting this season and we meet more of the various generals.
Just finished the first episode and am a bit into episode 2: Spoiler Good fucking lord, I despise Pidge's brother. His voice and personality are just so grating. And once again, Pidge runs off by herself and nobody has a problem, even though Allura and Shiro told her to wait for backup. And is it just me, or is the idea that those puny Galra fighters can actually pose a threat to a lion kind of laughable? Like seriously Pidge couldn't just shoot down five of them? Also, I'm sorry, but I just do not give a shit about Pidge and her family. Also, for someone so smart, she really is an idiot, and acts more like a spoiled brat. "We have Voltron we can do anything!" Are you an idiot? Voltron has been almost defeated numerous times. Her whole character gets more insufferable with each season. She desperately needs an attitude adjustment from someone, anyone. But no, she's so perfect and nobody ever gets angry at her. Yet all she does is pout and scream like a child and demand her own way without ever considering the world around her. It's insufferable. EDIT: And having finished episode 2: Spoiler Well waddaya know, Pidge is an idiot and Zarkon double-crossed them! Who'd have guessed!? That Zarkon and Lotor fight, though, was fucking awesome. EDIT2: And episode 3: Spoiler This is where my problems with teh show are growing. I hate how insanely smart the Holts are, they might as well be magical with how quickly and effortlessly they learn and master alien technology. It's absurd. And Hunk is utterly worthless to this show. All he does is bungle and talk about food. Also, Voltron itself is just... lame. It never does anything amazing. I was expecting all five Bayards to produce something epic, I dunno. Like again, maybe the blazing sword? But no, Voltron just breaks out of its hold. What a waste of a potentially awesome idea.
Spoiler Just got done Season 5. I wasn't expecting Lotor to be taken in this direction. I don't mind it though cause it's interesting that they're not playing him going crazy card at least soon. It would make the moment where he does turn crazy evil more tragic. Also really can't wait to see the next part about Keith finally meeting his mother.
