    Okay guys
I got him today and I honestly have to say that I absolutely love this guy.
So the first thing I realized was that he is missing his left index finger, but I have already contacted ShowZStore for that. Then, when I took him out of the box there was a small pin flying around, but I was able to reattach it to the part on his shoulder where it should have been so now he's actually fine, which really makes me happy .
The paint on this guy ist just absolutely stunning in hand and the plastic quality I think is okay as well. The only thing that I don't like is that on mine his elbow joints are extremely stiff and of course the old problem with his shoulder pads...
The transformation ist really very tricky, but if you get used to it, its actually doable. First it took me about one hour transforming him and lining up everything.

So all in all after hearing all the critics about him I was very scared that mine is not usable as well, but it's just his index finger, which I hope ShowZ will do. But in hand and after fiddling around with him for about two hours now I do really really enjoy him!

Just gathering the courage to transform him. The transformation isn’t actually that bad, still worse than gcreations prime but imo it’s a lot more stable and full of ratchets and diecast. Just take your time while looking at the instructions AND video reviews.

Just like with MP36 paint chipping is unavoidable though, as this thing is bathed in paint. Only things that irritate me are the shield connection and shoulder panels, would of been better if they went with a double hinge system or something.

IMG_20180223_235743460.jpg Just received this guy from TCP. Right out of the box he is missing his right index finger. Does anyone know if a replacement part can be sent or does the whole figure have to go back for a replacement just for one missing finger?

You SHOULD be able to get a replacement figure unless the retailer you got it from is being a dick.

It's not missing. He's just doing a shadow puppet of a Doberman pinscher.

On a serious note, just drop TCP a line and see what they suggest.

Mine was missing as well (and an elbow shield peg, and a screw in his foot...)- tcp ordered me replacement parts. Just contact them. At this rate they'll be getting a whole box full of extra fingers...

From what you guys are all saying it sounds like El Cid is pretty accurate to the source material:

Well now, after transforming him again the two foldable pieces of the roof broke and the kibble on his arm came off the tiny screw, which really sucks. Does anyone know how to fix that ? ^^

    Ugh...

Usually I wait for reviews before buying figures I'm not sure about, so I'm not sure why I jumped the gun on this guy so quickly. Lesson learned hopefully...

This looks like a great take on AOE/TLK Prime although it's slightly off when compared to screen accuracy.

AOE/TLK with Prime really moved away from visible vehicle parts on the design and went for a very streamlined/curved robot mode compared to the angular design in 1-3 with vehicle parts very much visible.

Again, looks like they've done a great job but it would be all but impossible to pull off 1:1 screen accuracy.

I finally received my El Cid and I LOVE how it looks. But man, that thing is not fun to handle and I'd be scared to death to transform it. So fiddly and so many little parts that could break. I wanted this figure strictly as a display piece to stay in robot mode, so it fits my needs perfectly.
