Han's head on the new TT version is more mech-like than the Hasbro version, which is Han's actual head stylized to look robotic. A decision I applaud TT for making.

 

So would a Luke, X-Wing Transformer have a mouth or a mouth plate like the new Han Transformer?

 

Probably a mouthplate. Otherwise I expect the helmet will resemble one worn by a standard X-Wing pilot.

 

I like the look but cant help the feeling a true crossover would have been better.

Having vehicles transform into known transformers and small starwars articulated figures to acompany them. Colors stay true to starwars yet in botmode the transformers colors come through where they can.

 

I agree - Optimus as the Falcon makes sense, Autobot Cars as Star Fighters, Bumblebee as Luke's Landspeeder, Megatron as Darth's Lightsaber and so on...and a cross-over non-canon comic series to go along with it kthx.

 

But at least these new figures are really light on for parts that sell them as Chewie and Han - Han in particular is a real stretch. Which would make it really easy to customise them into different characters.

The MF being a Star Wars 'truck' means limited characters that make alt-mode sense - Ultra Magnus and Optimus Prime maybe?

 

What if they aren't aloud to make Transformers characters into Star Wars vehicles?
