Picked up blackwing & rippersnapper from Rolling Meadows Walmart golf road. There's still one rippersnapper and a bunch of Sludges there.

Palatine Walmart is still completely empty of transformers as of this morning, that's a whole lot of shelf space with nothing in it. Wonder if wave 2 is going to even show up there or they will bring out more old stuff

 

Lol of course they show up at the one Walmart I haven't checked -_-

As of last night the Palatine Walmart had a Leader Optimus and Rodimus. Don't know if they were still there. Wish the legends would at least show up around here.

 

Found both Voyagers at a Target in Chicago on Addison. Still has 2 of Elita 1. No more Hun-gurrs. They only had 1.

Of course I was there Monday and they didn’t have them!

 

Sweet. Surprised Sludge, Snarl and Rippersnapper weren’t the first to go but rather Blackwing and Moonracer. I say this because in Wave 1 it was the dinobots that got snagged first, while Jazz and Dreadwind were left pegwarming.

 

Picked up the only set of wave 2 voyagers at the New Lenox target and my stinger came today, what a good day.

 

Got Elita-1 Arlington heights target on rand road, nothing else wave 2 there though

 

Grabbed Hun-Gurrrrrrrrrrrrrrr at West Loop Target. Left Elita. I’ll get her eventually but not a must buy now.

 

I talked to the nice lady in the toy aisle in the Palatine Walmart and she was surprised when she scanned because the manager did not seem to order anymore deluxes. Lol so I guess we can count on there not being anything in Palatine for a while.

 

This is because of case assortment. Wave one deluxes were 2x each of swoop, slug, dreadwind and jazz. Take 1 of each and you still have one of each. People like the dinos more and you will have jazz and dreadwind still on the shelf.
With wave 2, there are 5 figures
2x snarl
2x sludge
2x rippersnapper
1x blackwing
1x moonracer

Take 1 of each and there will be dinos only left. With blackwing and moonracer short packed, they will be harder to get.

 

So based on that, someone probably got 1 of each deluxe and left the extra snarl, sludge, and rippersnapper for me

 

Has anyone seen Grimlock in the wild recently? Also, am I right in thinking he's coming out again in a future wave?

 

I've been seeing him everywhere, actually! Melrose TRU and Target both have him right now. Also, I think the Walmart on Touhy in Niles and the one in Skokie had him this week!!

 

Yeah, he's all over Chicago too. Pretty sure I saw him most recently at Belmont/Western TRU.

 

Hun-gurrr at Willowbrook Super Target at Kingery Hwy and I-55. They also have (unless I was Hallucinating) at G2 Combiner Wars Superion Box Set, in a rather shelf-worn box, ringing up for $99.99.

Ha, I saw one of those Classics Rodimus/Wreck-gar-Junkheap sets at my Target a couple weeks ago, $75. Odd thing to see there, I thought.

 

I think for the most part box sets that show up like that in stores are online purchases that are regrets and return to stores. haha.

 

I have been seeing him a lot more often as well. At least 15 times in the past couple of weeks.
