Hasbro had a lot of recent promos including 20% off your first order through email signup, free shipping, president's day, so I'd imagine they'd like to maximize profits where possible. Also as others have harped, movie fans should just shut up and be grateful that Hasbro is offering figures early /s

But seriously, would have been extra nice to get discounts, but it is what it is. I will definitely take pictures of BB and a Stinger that will temporarily be in my abode (but will not be unboxed and join the rest of the collection)

 

Have wave 2 deluxes been spotted in the Bay Area? Seems like it's only SoCal at this point

 

I know. I really want the Dinobots so bad. My Volcanicus is almost done too.

  Alright, I'm biting the bullet. I'm getting Stinger, Bee, and Ratchet. And speaking of Ratchet, isn't he just a repaint of the DoTM figure?

 

Gonna move this to the Sightings section, CA, think you'd have a chance of getting an answer there.  

 

Naw, there are some minor changes like his shoulder pauldrons. Really don't recommend getting him as I feel they could have done better justice to the character, but your call chief!

 

0 for 4 at Walmarts today. I will not bother with hunting wave 2 until next month

 

I saw Rippersnapper and Blackwing at Orange Walmart. I bought the last Moonracer and Dinobots.

 

That store closed unfortunately some time ago like other toy/hobby stores. I believe the name of the owner on here was Dragonstorm. The lease kept going up and the cost to keep the store open vs the money coming in. It's a tough business.  

 

That’s a bummer but I kind of figured that was the case. California is way too expensive for niche stores.  

 

Found Snarl, Sludge and Rippersnapper at Walmart in North Highlands earlier today, no sign of Moonracer, left behind Blackwing

 

Surprise! Found wave 2 Prime Masters today - Alchemist Prime and Alpha Trion - at the shop at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Prices were painfully marked up (almost $10 each), but I bought them anyway.
They had a number of hard to find TFs there - RiD Thermidor wave, TR Misfire wave, TR Ramhorn, and PotP Rodimus Unicronus.

 

Got these two voyagers at Hillsdale Target. One of each left. Didn't see any deluxes.

 

Pot Of Gold Collectibles in Concord is the only place I know of in the East Bay. There is another place on Clayton Road, but I do not support them.

 

There is Toy Safari in Alemeda, and The Toy shop un San Leandro. Although the toy shop specialises in hot toys, they do get Transformers in from time to time.

 

Got 3 of 5 of the new POTP Wave 2 Deluxes courtesy of Walmart in Ventura. No where else in town had the Deluxes. But Elita-1 and Hun-gurr was at multiple Targets.

 

Found Hungrrr and Elita at the Hub Target in Fremont. Took Hungrrr, left Elita.

 

Can someone get the three deluxes for me? The Dinobots are good enough too.
