Even having the front of the helicopter as the feet is pretty close to accurate, and having the sides of the back of the helicopter becoming the arms.

Yeah someone posted to avoid breaking the barrel from forceful pulling the two screws under turret to loosen them a little. It will allow the barrel to slide out easy.

But hopefully knight Prime post his vid about it.

Edit- nvm I just read your post

GRRRRR...... They never cease to impress:/

Did anyone else have one tread on each side, that appeared to be stretched out, so that the clips would not lock in place? Or is that a QC issue on mine? All the treads were disassembled in the box, and I had to retrieve them and put them back together, so I figured they got damaged and pulled apart somehow.

Yes , having a “ stretched one “ also , but it doesn’t look stretched out some how . It has no stress marks or something like that .

Maybe it is the first hinge and they forgot to remove it in the rush for CNY :)

I'm a silly big fan of Brawl, my all time favourite TF toy as a kid. This one looks amazing, but the tread problem almost makes me not want to bother.
However, I customize almost everything I get my hands on in some way, so I'm thinking I might eliminate the tread problem by
    1)remove treads
    2) sand down bottom of wheel sections that fold to form the legs
    3) glue treads in place
That way the tracks could still fold to form the legs and no more falling tracks everywhere. Yeah you lose the moving tracks (not bothered), and lose a quarter inch of the bottom of the tank, but this may be the most effective fix...
Any thoughts from those who have him in hand? Is it a do-able mode?

Mine hit my POL yesterday at bbts. It can sit until the next is released. I'm patient.

Yeah one of mine was like that. It wasn’t stressed but was loose. I carefully heated it and closed it up a bit to retention it. I’d rather not use my spare pieces right away.

With that being said, whoever had the idea for those working treads needs to be taken out behind the woodshed. I got him today and opened him up after work to relax. I was driven into fits of frustration which was remedied by removing enough links until they were the right size in bot/leg mode. I do like the idea of somehow gluing them in place but right now this works fine.

I’ll have to figure out how to give enough slack for the wheel section to pivot, but I think fixing the tracks is the way to go. I have no need for them to work. I really wish they had done them like warpath.

I think the opposite I guess... The only thing that makes this figure stand out are his working treads IMO.

They’re fiddly to the point of being not worth the squeeze. They look good in alt mode, but in bot and leg mode they suck.

I agree that the treads are annoying but they don't ruin the figure for me. Posted this a few pages back, but if you remove the extra links that aren't needed in bot mode you'll have a much easier time with his legs and they'll look a lot cleaner.

I don't think I'll ever transform Brawl into anything but leg mode so hopefully the tracks won't be an issue for me. I learned after vortex and blast off that I am not interested in Zeta's method of transformation. It's 100% about combined mode for me at this point.

I'm in the same boat I think. Though I don't care for the alt modes or individual bots much with Zeta, the combined mode looks close enough to work for me...

I don’t play with my toys so it's not an issue for me!
