I dont believe they will ever rerelease it, but heres to hopping.

 

I have one that's basically unused... transformered it once, should have the box and everything...

Thanks for the offer. Take no offense please but I have a weird feeling whenever I buy second hand items (for no real reason) and I end up never keeping them. Its a weird quirk of mine.

 

What about selling the mold to another 3 party company and make some money from a dead project. So Voodoo happy, other 3 party company happy and fans happy both everybody wins.  

 

I was super happy with this mold because the hip skirts on the official really bothered me. But then I got the hip fix for the MPs and they are great.

 

Cyber City Con delivered on their promise. I have the limited release Animus in hand and I couldn't be more pleased. The hips ratchet issue has been completely addressed with a very nice friction joint. If the box sleeve is to be believed, there were only 150 units made. Toy Dojo offered Thursday on Facebook to pick up units for those unable to attend, stocks permitting. Pic below for size comparison:

 

I had shown interest on their Facebook page, and preordered one from their store, so hopefully I'm able to get this guy soon.

 

Any news on sales of the Cyber City exclusive "Red Not Ironhide" Voodoo Animus?

I e-mailed Toy Dojo. Their website has both listed w Sept 2017 ship date. Once I saw that its automated (and not updated) I sent the e-mail...

 

Would love to buy diaclone black ironhide or a green ratchet!

 

So tried reading through some of the pages. Besides the retooled hip joints, is there any word on whether this new release will have any other improvements? Better materials? Other changes? Or is this pretty much just a release of the same toy in Ironhide colors?

Just curious. I always liked the way this one looked, but Ratchet in hand felt flimsy. I'm also one of those that never found the MP Ironhide/Ratchet mold all that great. I would totally take the WeiJiang oversized version with ALL of its improvements if they ever scaled it back down to MP, but I doubt that will ever happen. This could be a good alternative, but it depends on what exactly is getting released.
