    Ebay:
    Quite tempted by Takara Perceptor and Ramhorn but I'm super picky with my figures, including the deluxes.

    The extra paint apps on Ramhorn seem nice but is Preceptor worth it? He seems a bit hollow and lacks character?

    I find that the differences in paint and details between TR and LG Perceptor to be minimal. However, this is going to be the best version of a CHUG Perceptor I imagine we will ever see from Hasbro! Solid figure all around, great microscope and G1 tank mode, and if you spring for a couple upgrades, he becomes pretty much unbeatable. I did end up painting my copy's eyes blue though.
