I was thinking of picking Anubis up since he's in stock at PSX, have any of the previous QC issues been fixed?

 

Not to my knowledge, and I was one of the latter orders.

 

Probably not fixed as, far as we can tell, there's only been the one run.. I'm still holding out for a blue one with fixes.

 

Guess I'll be holding out too than, eh, I'd prefer the blue look anyway, hopefully down the line we can get one.

 

Picked up a MIB Anubis at RetCon 2017 for a very good price, and I love him. I didn't find a collector card in the box, was it included?

 

Now that Boreas is out, what are the chances of us getting that blue repaint? Even something like this as a new head would look good with the rest of the line I think.

 

I don't want a new head. Just a mass release version with blue parts instead of green. I hear MMC has a really good coloring guy now......  

 

Just to clarify this is pretty much what people want right:

 

Yup alternate marvel colors would definitely look much better on the mold.

 

...I think him and Metalhawk are gonna have words!  

 

Boss loves the colors but says if their is any chance we can do a run of him with them it'll be a very very small one and most likely a psx only one at that. So we'll see what if anything can happen.

Wouldn't assume anything, so don't get ya hopes up too high guys.  

 

That is exactly what I want. Even if it's a PSX exclusive, I'd be fine with that. Just so long as it fixes the problems a lot of people had with the first version.

Hey everyone,

Picked Annubis up at TFNation for a decent price, and ... well he's just pointy, handsome, and brutal. And he scales very well with Titans Returns Galvatron and Alternators Shockblast, for some epic face-off memories. I admit I'm not overly fond on the alt mode, but then he will hardly be in that mode.

I'm going to need to loosen the upper knee ratchets, apart from that I have some ideas ..... I'm tempted to make some sort of cloth cloak, that fits around the existing parts, and has torn trailing-edges. And I'm going to make / find a bigger mace and an arm mounted blaster ...

godotislate - good tip for the shield, I've got some random bits and will give it a go.

I've got one question. Gun storage in robot mode - has anyone found a suitable place? (Have I missed the obvious?)

I really liked the comic that came with it as well; it would be nice to have a sequel.

I think the only issues I had were tabbing the wings caused stress marks around the tabs and the shield being unusable was kind of a downer. Fixing these two issues would guarantee a repaint purchase.

Just got this guy in the mail two days ago. Finally transformed him into jet mode. He... doesn't tab in here and there as well as I would have liked, especially given the cost of the figure. Also, my copy came with two chainsaws, but no pulse rifle. Still (mostly) happy to have picked him up.

On a related note does anyone know why the jet nose pivots open, and why the knob on the middle portion can come off?

 

I believe that was for his moldmate Lockdown.
His huge gun plugs in there.

Aaaaand this guy, after over a year of solid shelf service, fell a mere 3 feet and broke today. Contacted PSX with hope for a spare part... if not, it'll be glue time. Sigh.
