Discounted rooms are in fact sold out - according to most on facebook, when the site was actually up (and that wasn't often in the rush) tickets for Hilton rooms had sold out. Someone has reported that Ibis, which is about 20 mins away, is £104 for 2 nights, which is very good, so perhaps look there if the Hilton is too pricey at standard rates.
The site was very slow for the first 30 minutes due to an unprecedented demand straight away. The hotels convention allocation has gone other than Friday for single rooms. I would definitely suggest Hilton Honors, I got for £74 a night which isn't too bad for a room share. I think Stan Bush playing probably has something to do with demand as I know a couple of people who are coming purely because of it.
