Holy shit, that's thing is legit!  

 

Is it me, or is the blue on this more rich and a bit darker then the Hasbro? I'm looking at my Hasbro MPM Optimus Prime, and it looks much lighter. I must say I prefer their take, plus have you noticed the yellow on the front tire wheel wells. It looks much more pronounced then I first thought. Stunning color. I still say they need to add the bits of copper or gold to those small areas..it would be the perfect paint job then.

 

It is in fact a much darker paint, as it was said in the video posted earlier that the color was closer to a purplish blue color and was much darker than the Hasbro or Takara colors. And yeah, they added a ton of paint apps to the front, but it's a shame that many of the gold accents on the back are not present

 

Man, I really wish someone would add just some tiny bit of black or gray detail in that chest area where its all red. That was the biggest gripe I had with the official and for not buying it to this day. It just looks so cheap looking as is.

Just got my LT MPM Bumblebee..the box was crushed. Its a simple put together box. Like a shoe box. Opens on one side. I got it from TF-DIRECT. Now I'm worried if I order this from their pre-order I reserved, will my Optimus come the same way? They should have surrounded the box with Styrofoam boards, but I'm wondering, it is simple to unfold, would ironing it a little work? I'd of course only do it from the inside, and probably on an iron board with a piece of smooth wood underneath. Anyone else tried that?

It's late, but tomorrow I'll upload some pics of the box.

 

Wow, they even painted the tiny blue lights and fixed his forehead! I'm catching up with my own as far as paint and mods so I might pass on this guy on case black apple comes out. But I'm really tempted to wait for their Barricade now, though. I just hope repro labels makes a sticker set for it.

My only gripe would be if they actually scrapped the internal molded of the figure, there are like 3 autobot symbols inside of all the panels, if they really did like they've done with the autobot insignia on the grill, then this guy will have annoying flat surfaces.

TL,DR: I hope they didn't made flat the surfaces of the back panels.
