I'm still gonna keep Sludge's head down when I combine him. The head looking forward like that looks a bit more awkward to me. Wonder if these takara releases will come with hasbro-style instructions now.
Are you a fan of the takara line up, if so can you tell me more about their ups and downs of their toys because I just bought swoop, and I don't know if I should continue buying Hasbro or wait for a third party to make this combiner.

That's why I'm avoiding Takara's POTP line for now. I'm going to miss the better painted Leaders and Voyagers, though.
Not neccessarily. There's precedent for Takara using different transformation schemes for their Combiners in the UW line (Dragstrip springs immediately to mind).

Im out! Ive had enough of half measures and wasting my money on crappy figures. Ive sold off my entire CW and TR collection and im focusing on third party and MP.
How am I just seeing this pic for the first time, damn I cannot wait to get these guys. As for the appendages..yeah, still not super fond of them being mismatched, but in a way I guess it kinda works to make Abominus seem kinda..Frankenstein's monster-esque?
Another example is CW Computron vs UW Computron, where on the CW version, the Afterburner arm has the windshield pointing upwards and the wheel downwards, while this is reversed in the UW version. If they wanted mismatched limbs, I rather all the limbs be different colors from each other, rather than UW Bruticus, which had the hands be the same color and each foot be a unique color. I really didn't like that and thought it was somewhat ugly. Seems like Abominus will be like that except with the hands instead of the feet. That said, your thoughts that the mismatched limbs can be likened to Abominus being a frankenstein monster does work quite well and make it easier to accept for me.
It is interesting that my local toy shops are not putting out pre-orders for these. I guess it is because they really are the same toys as the Hasbro version so Hasbro Asia is skipping them?
A bit more than that! Gun is the same, looks like the front of Sludge is the back of Slug.... The other 2 Dinobots, Swoop and Snarl have parts reused in varying degrees on Cutthroat and Sinnertwin respectively. The remaining two Terrocons, Rippersnapper and Blot, also share parts between each other. This helps explain why the Hasbro versions are spread over multiple waves per team as Hasbro dislikes putting more than one use of a mould or parts thereof in the same case. Are we expecting Takara Terrorcons at Wonderfest in 2 weeks? I don't think they've been shown in magazines yet.
