I just bought myself SOC GX 75 Mazinkaiser. So right now I cant afford another $200 to $300 plus expenditure on another high grade collectable action figure. Thanks for those awesome photos!

Got one of these yester thanks to the ebay coupon   Came out to $250 + $10 is rewards from my CC so $240 out of pocket. I think im ok with that price.

 

Looks like an overpriced action master to me.

 

Anyone know what kind of fabric is used for the cape/poncho/hood or similar? I’d like to make one for a figure of mine but I don’t know what kind to use.

 

Drift is one of those new comic book 'G1' characters that just feels like fan fiction to me. No true history with the original Transformers, and this one looks like a Gundam. On top of that, he doesn't transform and he's expensive.

Nice photos, but I'll take Generations Mega Action Series over this line, anyday.

It looks good....but not $300 good. At that price it should be taller or transform.

 

As someone who collects anime figurines and figmas that price could be a lot lower for what this is. 150-200 dollars seems like it would be more of a fair price. He does look great though and would make a gorgeous display piece. As for those calling this awesome looking figure bad just because it cannot transform...

 

Received Flame Toys Drift in about two weeks ago. Its an amazing Chogokin representation of a high end Transformer. I own all of the Takara Masterpieces and Fans Toys releases. Folks need to stop comparing or talking does this transform. Its a piece of art which connects mostly with folks who also collect SRC / SOC and yes there are a lot of collectors who collect both. I also collect all of the Metal Build Gundams and Sentinel Super Robots. Flames Toys designers are from Sentinel..........this is worth every penny. That being said to each their own................those who are not a fan of that\'s cool but do not dispute whether or not this an incredible feat of engineering and or an awesome representitive of a Masterpiece Scale Drift which it is. Bottom line 9.5 out of 10 I would have liked to have seen painted metallic eyes which would have still litup behind the LED\'s. COME ON MAN this is 2018! This is madness ...no no Insanity.....THIS IS SPARTA!  

 

Can they do an Analog version for half the price? $300 is a kick in the crotch

I love how this looks, don't mind that it doesn't transform, like the character, yet there's one issue. I'm dirt poor...

 

I hope we get some more news about the price and availability of the Flame Toys model kits soon. Their high-end figures are way out of my budget, but if those model kits are priced similarly to Gundam ones, I'll definitely try and get them.

 

I’m a sucker for characters with cloaks. If other figures and switch games weren’t bankrupting me, I might look into him.
