Pushing the wheels back definitely helped keep the shoulder tabs in place. That was the only “knock” and it’s been solved.

Power Baser has officially become the Figure of 2018 for me.

 

Damn I loved this figure before this correction had been found, You all might be seeing me on My Strange Addiction for marrying Power Baser.

 

Is there a picture to explain this? My imagination is bad.

 

I seriously don't think the 2 side tabs can tab onto the side of the cab.

 

It does actually tab in, not tightly but its there.

The tab in the right highlight goes into the indent in the left one.

Yeah, I went home and did that a few days ago when I saw that post and it really IS pretty obvious that's how it's "supposed to" be, down to how the molding accommodates the wheel wells in Super mode. It looks better and the side-chest sections (the part with the fake windows on the robot mode) has tabs that don't lock anywhere unless the cab part is in standard cab configuration.

Sure, but if the criteria is when we got it and not when it was released then Carry would be my pick for best figure of 2017.

I think Power Baser should get some leeway, though. Even though he was technically released in 2017 I think a lot of Americans who bought from domestic retailers had no chance of getting him until 2018.

Seriously.., there should be a straight online poll, best 3rd Party Transforming figure. Categories. Likeness, ingenuity, style. Etc.. And each should have a custom robot golden trophy. Something real and special, official looking. Every year. Presented by TFW2005 and whomever else wants to sponsor the event. My vote for best 3rd Party Transforming combiner, masterpiece scale. POWER BASER!

 

Okay, just saw these!!! See this is what I've wanted all along, PM Optimus Prime in standard mode without the armor as big as MP10, and also in terms of Quality, design, and just amazing in both Alt and Bot mode. Unlike Perfect Effect PC-16 Jinrai Optimus Prime, This Power Baser takes the look and feel of Takara's MP 10 and puts out what looks to be a great product. BUT, until I see a review and no QC issues with snapped joints and disconnected legs, or missing parts, the more I will be into getting this. But until then, I am waiting on the Youtube shows to get a sample to review.

The pin holding one of my cab's ankles flew out and it went plooey. I'm getting a replacement from TCP; I haven't heard this from anyone else tho.
