    The Guiding Hand and the 13 Primes can exist co-currently in the same continuity.

    I always thought the Guiding Hand were the best of the best on ancient Cybertron, who started Cybertronian culture and practices and such, and the 13 Primes in IDW were just some guys who led different clans.

    The Guiding Hand came first, followed by the Knights of Cybertron, THEN the 13.

    Yup. It's been the case for some time now. At least as far as Cybertronian religion/mythology in IDW is concerned. Several of the Thirteen Primes have shown up in the present day. Just how real or unreal the Guiding Hand and Knights are should become apparent soon enough.
