So if ROM and Micronauts are gone, G.I. Joe and MASK are gone before they started, does that leave only Transformers? Damn, the Hasvroverse was very short lived.
Really? I didn't know that! While I'm not the biggest fan of the shared universe, I am finding enjoyment out of it. Kinda sad to see it end, but at the same time I'm not. Also, can't wait for both OP and LL to pick up the pace. I've been reading for a while, and while I love LL so far, OP was getting really, really boring for me. Also love the covers! (Including Romdells)
If you are referring to myself then yeah I do feel there are spoilers here but the tags are in place so its fine. Its not an issue for me but both the cover and the solicit reveals a lot in its own way. I don't know how to use the tags so I'll say nothing about it. Its cool.
And for the second month in a row, Rom and the Micronauts is the only non-TF Hasbroverse comic on the shelves, and that’s wrapping up. There’s not even a Jem and the Holograms. Surely this isn’t the end of the Hasbroverse. They were just staring to work out the kinks.
The hasbroverss hasnt really worked. At least not as well as IDW/Hasbro had hoped I'm sure. Plus weren't we told that Unicron will primarily be tf villain rather then a Hasbro one?
Yeah, I think they mentioned no other Hasbro characters will get involved with Unicron, but I heard mention of ROM in one of the early solicits, I think.
Despite people at IDW saying "don't worry TF fans, of course this will be a TF-focused event", Unicron #0 is solicited as involving Unicron trying to eat Rom's homeworld, and the mini-series is counted as a (loose?) sequel to Revolution and First Strike.
I imagine there will be some periphery tie-ins that focus on characters like the Micronauts and Visionaries, but the main event itself will be TF-focused.
It was Transformers and G.I. Joe focused. With everything else playing supporting/minor roles to being virtually nonexistent. I’m willing to bet Unicron will follow a similar route but with Transformers being the sole main focus with everything else taking a backseat.
Ah, First Strike just kinda confused me, because not a single o e of its tie ins felt like they tied in to the story, except maybe the Optimus and Transformers ones, and even those were revolutionaries sequels really.
Haha. Spoiler Five bucks says its actually the Quintessians posing as the Guiding Hand. Oh, and nobody is actually dead.
