Getting both this weekend, prefer tyrant over sovereign, he just looks better to me, and starscream is just awesome looking.

 

Have you considered Maketoys Meteor instead of Yes Model Starscream? Meteor has MUCH better articulation.

 

I don't see the need for you to start a new thread to announce your purchasing decisions...but ok, good for you I guess?

Tyrant is a better cannon mode with a good bot. Sovereign is a better bot mode with a good cannon mode. Just depends really what you're looking for.

I will say Tyrant is a pretty easy transform.....just watch on his sides when you go to rotate the cannon "treads and arms" off his sides...there is a little purple plastic flip down "cap" for lack of a better word. Lots of people snapped them off not flipping them down first before rotating the cannon arms off the bots side going to cannon mode. You'll see them...just be mindful of them is all...they're fragile.

There are a lot of good video reviews online that show step by step how to do if you need help transforming him.

 

And I dont see the need to be a smartass or an a%%hole about it. He felt happy about it and he wanted to share his happyness. I was interested to read it and partake in it. If you guys dont like it, nobody is forcing you to do either.

On the subject: OP good purchases both of them. I personally dont like Tyrants robot mode as opposed to Sovereign, but thats taste I suppose.
I would very much like to hear your opinion on Yes SS. I am interested in getting Thundercracker and Skywarp.

Fer reelz dough, I've been a member of Camp Tyrant since release....and I LOVE his feet, especially. Triple-strand Purple LED in his cannon is just.....graaaavy.
Personally, I would go for Meteor over Yes Model as well, but that's only because, (IMO) at it's core, Yes Model is still "officially" a knock-off company, and hasn't broken into the "just acceptable enough to NOT be a KO" range of quality the way, say, Wei Jeing did with their Commander figure.

 

Seriously dude? Have you seen how bad the alt mode of 2% is? It's not even close to being MP scaled. And don't get me started on how bad it doesn't tab together. I'm not even sure an upgrade kit could fix 2%. Even KFC has better QC than 2%, and good luck getting replacement parts. I've heard 2% doesn't respond to facebook or emails. Ben thinks 2% is glorious though. There is a rumor that WeiJiang will make an OS version, so it's probably better to hold out for that, but definitely avoid the simplified KO version. Lastly, 2%'s face looks like it was sculpted by the guy that used to make Fans Toy's faces.

 

Seems more and more this fandom is becoming a heaven for the socially innept and disfunctional, rather than people who just enjoy a hobby.

Well I dont like the looks of Tyrant, I feel his proportions are off, but hey to each their own!

Regarding Meteor, I dont like the simplified details that he has in order to make him the spitting image of cartoon accuracy. I like my figs to look like the toon, but not to the point of sacrificing detailing  

 

I went with the kbb cause I like the metallic paint and it was cheaper. But I’m camp Tyrant too.

How anyone could go with tyrant and those aweful curved clown shoes are beyond me.

Also i dont think anyone was tryna crap on the guy who created the thread, its just when someone creates a thread it usually has a point i.e asks a question of some sort or is a thread for a new figure, personally his comment could have went in the tyrant thread but no one is crapping on a guy for being happy about a new figure....WEVE ALL BEEN THERE!
