Oh, I had no idea. Either way, I think the stock feet are too small. Plus, it's really silly how the hands have two thumbs.

So in a way, I agree that it's sad that a 3rd party add-on is damn near required to make the combined look decent. But at this point, I've come to expect it. I have the PE sets for all my CW figures anyway.

 

It's really kind of an optional thing you can use the hands to extend of the feet or bulk up the torso both are official.

 

You can turn the lower thumb up and it will be out of the way.

Hi all I saw a lot of Takara potp figure images on daimchocs fb page and didn’t see them here.

 

I don't even care if they're physically identical to what Hasbro's putting on their market's shelves, I just like Dengeki Hobby's photoshoots.

Why couldn't they give Sludge his own gun instead of Slag's? It's also annoying the Dreadwind only gets 1 gun.

Heard from the rumor thread that there may be a leader class thunderwing, star saber, and deathsaurus. Does that defeat the purpose of the prime fan vote?

 

Those pics doh, it just makes it SO much worse that I have been ready fro the wave 2 deluxes for a WHILE now,.... Dreadwing and the Dinobots need their crew 1

 

My guess is they had all of these guys in the can, and the poll was to determine who gets the first toy and who gets to be the actual "Prime" in the comics.

 

Star Saber and Deathsaurus, if I remember correctly, were "wild cards" of sorts that Hasbro threw in to gauge how much people knew of JG1 and how interested we were in actually importing characters that were previously JG1-exclusive to the states, and their popularity in the poll surprised them greatly, prompting them to tease that they were going to release toy forms of them sooner, rather than later as they originally planned.

 

Hey, works for me. I loves me some Victory designs so if we get more toys of them, heck yeah. I've got 2 of the 3 "Trinity Force" guys from TFC and totally getting the last guy to make Road Caesar as soon as I have the money.

Acid Storm is once again a solid connection, but what is surprising is Onslaught. The gap between Starscream's wings is just right for Onslaught to fit in, and then his shoulders and legs clip onto the wings to secure it. Onslaught's back pack then slots perfectly into Starscream's original combiner chest.

 

Your version looks much better than mine.

 

Yours isn't bad. They both have uses depending on which side of Starscream you're using as the front.

Rustoleum Matte Spray finish to give it a more plastic look, and less "shiny paint" look
(This step is what made it look so awesome. Without it, the paint looked too DIY lookin'. Once I sprayed it down with the matte spray, it thinned it out enough, and dulled it enough, to make it look like blue plastic.)
