I'm also thinking of picking up a resissue. Not being able to transform my first release version is irritating me.

It feels like it latched on pretty tight, I'm afraid of damaging it... is there an easy way to make it release?

 

I did the same thing... But I slide it back with no problems!

 

Hmmm, slide it off or further on? It's caught on the little notches pretty tight, doesn't seem to want to move either way. Unless I'm doing something wrong again.

 

You're supposed to slide it forward towards his hand to lock it in, not backwards.

It looks legit to me. That's the "official" listing on amazon japan, same one I got mine from. I think you're good!

 

No idea about how to ship to the UK, but you need to create a new account at Amazon Japan. Western Amazon accounts aren't compatible. Also, when you do get it set up and are checking out, opting to pay in JPY instead of USD always saves me several dollars. Not sure if it's the same for other currencies.

I've waited decades for this.

I'm just a little worried about the box being damaged. I have previously worked at Amazon and witnessed packages fly kicked, thrown on the floor, have microwaves thrown on top of them when loading conveyor belts etc.
With some luck the Japanese treat things with more respect.

 

I've gotten four or five MPs from them so far and every box has been pristine. They've put bar code stickers on the front of a few boxes but they peel off easily.

I had to cancel my order.. Once shipping was thrown on and the upfront import tax it came to £195.00
Literally, zero benefits for me while I'm back home, I'm going to sit and wait a little for Nippon Yassan to email me so I can try snag one for the 15,480 Yen if an unfulfilled pre-order comes available.
Otherwise, Kapow might be my next best bet with the £169 price.

Check to see if Amazon put it up, because the one you were looking at was not sold by amazon Japan it was sold by W3G.

Check with the U.K. stores Kapow, TFS express or IDTOYS via email to see when or if they will be getting the new reissue(not the one from December)

Pay the £170 he’s worth it. Wait till you open that box man!

Your not gonna save much from overseas, the shipping will bring the costs up to near enough the same price. Also you got local customer service.

But wait for the REISSUE.

I’ve learned, only to buy exclusives in the future from places like AE ( excellent so far) but works out around the same price might save £10. Their shipping is a killer!

Quick question that was probably tackled a hundred pages ago and I just missed it.

I am an accessories junky and I am planning to pick up Dr. Wu's DW-P38 set. By any chance does anyone know which G1 episode the binoculars are referencing? I am trying to figure out if the purple or silver set is more animation accurate. Thanks!
