He’s a larger figure, but he has the potential to be deceptively simple, or laden with features that drive up his price, so he could retail anywhere between Megatron and Sunstreaker. If they were going higher on that scale, he might not be really right until the end of the year release so they could get another lower priced carbot character out before or after Dinobot, who’s the most expensive MP to-date.

Blaster is definitely coming though for sure cause they can just repaint Soundwave. (See recent Sunstreaker release...simple repaint of Wheeljack since they share the same transformation.)

Also, Bumblebee will be RESHELLED into Cliffjumper. It's coming for sure.

Galvatron is all designed and sculpted and ready to go. It looks....AMAZING. Just amazing. BUT....there's a problem. It's been canceled cause he's a bad guy and bad guys don't sell. Japanese people hate bad guys. Hasui wanted to release him as an Autobot but with a Decepticon sticker hidden in the package but a Takara executive found out and canceled it. And fired Hasui. And that's why Ironhide has hip skirts. Sorry.

Well, I've just heard from a reliable internal source (on 4chan, so I trust it) that Takara bosses have only recently discovered that the Transformers are a bunch of Americans - revealed when authorities confiscated a G1 cartoon VHS tape from a detained expat and, through lip sync analysis, determined that their Japanese version is in fact the dubbed-over fake, overturning a 30-year belief that the Transformers were Japanese - and have therefore decided to cancel the entire Transformers line in Japan, including MP. Especially MP.

Sad times.

Eh, i don't know nothing, in fact, i revived that thread because yesterday i watched some episodes from Beast Wars, and i noticed some details that definitely can "affect" the figure (in a good way), he's so expressive and has a ton of emotions, i don't know if Takara can fill that with faceplates, but if i was them, i would make at least 10 separated faces.

Regarding that topic, i'm not sure if the next Figure King magazine can have some news, we will see Dinobot for sure, but he will be the only one?. We know that the "Takara" versions of the Potp will take an appearence in the book, but there has been LACK of news for the takara figures, we can have something new (be masterpiece, be generations, be exclusive, etc).

At this desperate stage I’d settle for Takara MPM Barricade pics! Although don’t expect him to be any different to Hasbro to be honest.

 

Well, Takara used a more "spark-y" yellow in bumblebee and optimus had more clear plastic (golden accents as plus and an autobot logo in the chest as plus), what i'm sure, it's that the next MPMs will be expensive  .
