That story gets old and tiresome....Either this is complete bonkers, or TTs security is laxer than the vigina of a hooker after a busy night.

 

The only security they have is for mp-11 and mp-10 files.

 

I'd be all over it, but for that white face! *indecision reigns* ..I suppose I could get an extra set of faces on eBay.. the deception logo is weirdly a deal breaker for me, not a fan of applying stickers myself and I like the toon style. the red inner legs, g1 extras and the silver help swing it too.

Question to those who have an MP-36 (real or KO) with the Decepticon logo on his chest: How many centimeters/millimeters is it?

I want to get a some of decals (preferable clear or water slide) that matches the logo in size BUT don't want it to look like the cartoon style logo (because every MP Decepticon figure that I have doesn't have the cartoon style logo either).

What's the best sticker /decal sheet that matches MP-36's Decepticon logo size in terms of size (I know many decal sheets have many sizes)? Links/hints would be great. Thanks in advance!

 

yeah i dunno about "stolen" in the sense of like a Mission Impossible spy going in there and hacking security to steal files. I *can* picture as the PDF doc's arrive to production houses that those files just get copied from any joe shmo.

There've been times when i'm dealing with outsourcing (we OS our concept work to china for 3D modelers) and we tell them to ignore XYZ concept and do ABC concept... so they'll have all the designs. if people looking at those designs really like em, there's nothing to prevent them from saving a copy to their personal drive and it proliferating that way.

Same goes the other way, we get files from OS that some of our artists are like "This is *sick!*"- copied to HD, taken home. Some folks i know at bigger studios go the extreme of copying those images into a PSD, then move that layer off of canvas to hide it.

there's no real security in it.

So we are getting there... I must be patient.

Not too sure about the volumetric breakdown. I’m in Singapore. I bought IT and maketoys meteor together and was charge around 13USD for shipping by 4px. Pretty decent price to pay since both boxes where quite sizable.

I like the expression but I think the sculpt is amateurish. It looks like they sculpted his neutral expression face and then just shrunk down one of the eye holes and cut one side of the mouth higher up. If he were actually smirking enough to bring that side of his mouth up that high and to close his eye that much, his cheek would be flexed and lifted, not just hanging there like he had a stroke. I have a hard time believing it was stolen from takara designers or, if it was, I would bet it was an unfinished design.
Not that I mind then including more options. I just wouldn't use it because it doesn't look right to my eye.

 

I believe that's the case. I have it in hand and it's not bad by any means but the mouth does look unfinished.

But yes, I agree, and that was my point, what you said in another post about there are misleading promotion/advertising. And that makes customers confused.

If this was the first time, I wouldn't be so pissed. But it happened about a month ago as well with a product they HAD in stock. Which they knew the weight, and after the purchase was done, shipping chosen and all that, I suddenly got an email later saying; "Pay more". I didn't make any fuss back then. But since it seems to be a returning thing, I just won't buy from there anymore. As simple as that. Just go elsewhere  

 

I'm using Rub for Norway. It's more of an individual service and he'll check out shipping cost and there'll be no surprises. Sites like Showz, Sirtoys, TF-direct are all, I'm guessing, partially automated so might be some errors/surprises when dealing with 'exotic/unusual' shipping locations like Norway when the order comes to the attention of a real person!  

 

My gold mp36 arrived just now... shipping label created on the 13/1 and the export tag has the 15/1.

China to UK in 5 days is great.
