I painted the spare eyes red

 

Painted his face silver to match my others ."prowl n sideswipe" n spare eyes red ,n jus got ToyHax set jus need to find out if jream has more chest peices

 

Got my Phoenix yesterday. Little late, but worth the wait.

 

Better late than never. He’s a sweet bot. Enjoy him!!     

 

Went to my PO Box to pick him up. After some time handling him. F**k.. this dude is awesome. This is my first FT figure and I can see why a lot of people gush over them. I can honestly say that he feels premium and has a good heft to him. Someone told me once I handle a FT figure, nothing else compares and they're correct. Now just waiting for Apache and Sovereign.  
I'll snap some pic when I can and if he can fit my backdrop that in use to take pictures with.

Just purchased this guy from Baba. I had put it off for way too long.

 

Congrats. I had to do the same. I was afraid he'd dry up. I have a feeling he will in a few months. He's an awesome figure! Had no room on my shelf so he stands proudly on my dresser.

As someone who was happy with Kronos (shit toy, but decent representation) I need to say this is superior in everyway. I was worried that they made Skyfire too buff like a 1995 Luke Skywalker figure, but in hand the proportions are not so body-builder like at all.

Let's put it this way. When Kronos was on the shelf I was happy to have Skyfire represented in my collection. Now that Phoenix is up there I am happy to finally have a Skyfire figure.

 

Never owned kronos but heard bad things about him. So I held off til Phoenix was released. If I didn't collect transformers or action figures in general, Phoenix would be a great stand alone piece.

 

I think we have a convert!

 

Congrats. Glad you like him. Just keep in mind that you're starting at pretty much the top of their line. FT consistently kicks out fantastic stuff, but Phoenix is kind of in a league of his own, even among other FT releases. Not trying to rain on your parade at all...just don't want you to be disappointed with your next FT figure. As the proud owner of somewhere between 15 and 20 FT figures, even I was stunned at just how impressive Phoenix is.

 

Yep. Lol I've converted. Just waiting for Apache to arrive. I have my eyes set on Koot once my wallet recovers.

Thank you and no you're not raining on my parade at all. I've been impressed with what FT been doing for awhile and I wanted to buy at least one of their figures. Well turns out I ended up buying more. I agree that Phoenix is a league of his own. As I said earlier, if I just bought Phoenix, I'd be pretty happy and not own any other toys.

 

Its funny. I was looking over my Fans Toys items and I have all of them and the only one that has really suffered over time is Tesla. He has not aged at all well. Quakewave does now lack an animated look but still looks good. But apart from that the rest look amazing. I think Spotter is particularly underrated. I know Spotter is not the best from Fans Toys but................... I still love it!

But yeah. Phoenix is in a completely different class.
