My strategy is usually to have the squad engage the active defences, then while they're occupied, use the holodecoy as soon as it's close enough to the outposts.
The last time was fairly unusual, it was just three outposts and the very act of activating them obliterated the holodecoy as soon as it was used.
It could be possible that the defences are targeting the holodecoy, considering I can't watch every second of the battle.

25?! That's insane!

My current alliance is ranked 303, but I'm usually in a much lower sister alliance. It's my first time to try for 12K in an event! I'm terrified!  

 

I'm normally in the top 5-10 during events but I'm hovering around 20 now. I don't like it!!!...but my team is rockin it. 15k min for us as well.

 

I would really like it if they offered more Dinobot crystals, I need Grimlock and Sludge (I’m not calling him Slog)

 

Yeah, they don't kick out nearly enough Dinobot crystals.

 

It really bothers me when people join alliances and don't participate, 34 in the alliance that I'm in but only 15 participate. We got the Rodimus crystal, but it cheeses me off that those who didn't participate still gets rewards. I'm about to leave and find another alliance.

 

I know what you mean. It seemed that way for my alliance too. We got him, but had a number of people not participating and some disgruntled players leaving on day 1.

 

Based on this, I think it may be possible that Rodimus' special ability was designed to counteract stasis mine immobility:

At the exact moment the stasis mine activated, I used Rodimus to spark overcharge and even though the teammates were immobile, they could still generate the energy pulses.

I was also curious to see if Spark Charge worked on flight capable Autobots.
I tested it with Swoop and Cosmos, it appears they can't generate the field while in the air.

This effect apparently continues until after they land, because it's still in duration when Swoop comes down and he's not generating the field.

 

Managed to do 24420 points, but our alliance didn't get the 3*, so it will probably not exist anymore. Are there any Decepticon alliances here that don't fail their players?

 

My alliance is great! We finished about 260, one of our sister alliances finished in the top 10.

 

I ended up being busier than expected this weekend. Was hoping to go for my first 20k weekend, ended up only doing 17k. Alliance finished at 59.

 

We finished 52nd. I got almost 19k but was kinda slacking off on Sunday so didn't put as much effort into it as I should have.

 

Any rumours on the next bots? I'm assuming sky lynx and blitzwing are in the pipeline based on their presence on the splash screen.

 

Actually, with patience and time, any event unlocked character will be provided in 3*-4* quality.
After a few months have passed, an update notice will be released announcing that an event character has been added to the general reward pool and then can be acquired through either a free or purchased crystal.
The event is just to unlock that character early, it won't prevent anyone from obtaining that character at a later date.

I myself have personally obtained a few event characters, including Decepticon ones long after the event was active.
Especially considering Autobot primary players cannot win the Decepticon unlock anyway, the general pool is the only way that we can acquire them to use.

I concur, that is the most likely scenario, since they always like to tease the next addition ingame somehow.
When they start doing dialogue conversations with Sky Lynx and Blitzwing, that'll be the first official ingame confirmation, since the models will be ready and visible.

If skylynx will be the counterpart to blitzwing, I suppose they are going to massively scale down his model. It would actually be neat if they changed the generic shuttle they use in the autobase to actually be skylynx that transports them. Then maybe a boost or unlocking the character allows you to send him in for an attack in battle, a la a combiner.

 

Sky lynx would need an epic skill though, probably with a hefty price tag.

Not gonna lie, I think Sky Reign would be fun to see show up. The Decepticons are a few teams ahead of the Autobots if I'm not mistaken and Sky Lynx is the last both needed for Sky Reign.
