I know everyone is desperate for a little shred of news involving Leader Class Blackout. I'm most excited about this because it was a dream since 2007 till 2009.

I feel the opposite. I thought Blackout was fine (not amazing) except for being comically undersized by any measure. There is certainly room for improvement.

I never even bought Bonecrusher, I thought he looked so bad (in addition to being criminally tiny). In fairness, a couple times I have wondered if i missed out and should go back and get him after all.

Over a month just seems so far away.

Until I get my Leader Class Blackout in my hands, in the mean time I'm fiddling around with my Transformers Animated Voyager Blackout.

Well, I honestly have no idea how you can think that that unless you just hate bonecrusher's design in the first place. deluxe bonecrusher is easily one of the most screen-accurate looking toys they made for the 2007 movie.
Blackout meanwhile looked like utter ass in just about every regard. His legs, his head, his rotor, aren't even remotely screen accurate. And he's way too brightly colored.

One day I will find that figure for a price that's not hilariously insane.

Hasn't happened yet, but I'm patient.

Bonecrusher...screen accurate...? Um...no... yes his basic body shape is right, but from the weird organic arms, to the shots of olive in his color scheme, bonecrusher IS NOT screen accurate.

    Bonecrusher hates being screen accurate.

I own Animated Blackout, and if I’m being honest, your not missing much. It suffers Lugnut syndrome, and it’s articulation is pretty weak, particularly with gorilla arms and lack of head movement

He definitely has a lot in common with Lugnut... but I really like Lugnut. :D  (Animated & CHUG versions are both awesome, actually.) I've never been a stickler for scale, haha, and I can forgive some articulation gaps for the sake of a cool design.

That said, it's amusing that this upcoming leader Blackout will probably cost LESS than what the old Animated voyager is going for. I think I'll get this one first!

Your welcome, though I will warn you. It’s highly possible that they may not be new molds. I think Jazz will be, but I’d bet Studio Series Lockdown will just be Hasbro’s version of the MTB Lockdown. Takara likes to milk molds though, so it’s possible they are just trying to squeeze out the last bit of cash from the original Jazz and Lockdown molds before the new ones arrive.

New York Toy Fair is being held February 17th-20th. Seeing as how the Studio Series hasn’t been revealed to the public just yet I wouldn’t expect more then the first two waves to shown.

Toy Fair is almost a month away. I can't wait to see more pictures of Blackout. I especially would like to change my avatar to a better picture of Blackout and I'd like to know when it will be in stores. Forget it hitting stores, I would pay double for a advance figure from an Asian Ebayer. I'd also like to see what other figures besides what we saw from the Leaks will come for Studio Series, but I can't get my hopes up, just have to wait some more.
