Transformed him yet? How's the paint?

 

Didn’t have time to transform it yet, the paint feels average, doesn’t looks like ther are clear coat over the gunmetal base paint.

 

I'm gettig it for the price from @rubadubspawn due to the pre-order, plus the fact I wont be hit by import taxes and get full tracking is more appealing.

 

That’s a bummer, but I guess I’m in the same boat. Any clues about “soon?” Like, July soon?  

 

I don't do well with waiting...

EDIT: My biggest gripe is that there were no indications on which 'batch' I got in on through tf-direct, I would have loved to know that going in so I wouldn't be forced to wait well beyond the initial release of the figure to get mine.

 

I really really like that toy face, the proportion is so much better than the toon face.

 

ShowZ said they're expecting more in the next couple of weeks. Happy with that as it'll be a bday gift to myself if he gets here second week of February.

 

Ohhh. That is very cool. I don't know why I never thought about doing this IDW take. I guess because mostly all of my IDW collection is mostly Chug...

 

I thought they said this week they'll get their stock in? I'm starting to regret ordering from them too but the price and a coupon used were too hard to pass up. Another couple more weeks of waiting..

 

I'm sure it's not their fault but what's with their suppliers giving them only partial shipments lately? Again, no blame on show.z for this: seems the same thing happened to tf-direct; but why is this a thing lately?

ditto. looks like i'm among the lucky to get this before the CNY clusterfuck. which is why places are saying march for the 2nd batch.

 

It's China. Hard release dates are pretty much optimistic guesses, at best.

 

3rd day and baba tracking number still not working.  

 

My shipping notice from TF direct just came in  

Email arrived at what would be 2:50 AM in China.

 

Was wondering if the Model001 upgrade kit would work with the THF megs colour-wise or will a slight deviation be present upon closer inspection (I might have seen it done with the IT/Matgen version).

 

I guess i'm stuck with my preorder.
Hopefully ShowZ gets this to me soon,whenever i get the shipping update i'll be ok.

 

Ditto. It's what's gonna make me go with THF after much consideration.

 

You mean the backplate?
I assume there would be a visible difference. But I doubt I'd mind personally.
