This should be interesting. Of course I want the Eagles to win, but I'm perfectly happy with the Vikings hosting a Super Bowl, too. And yeah, keep the Patriots out, will you Jaguars?

Is anyone thinking that the Jags stand a chance of getting a win at NE? I thought the Steelers would crush them even though they lost to them the first time and was wrong so maybe there's some hope?

As an Eagles fan, I think we will still be underdogs at home but I think they have a good chance to win. Vikings offense is not as talented as the falcons and we shut them down. For sure our defense is gonna have to carry us to get a win though. Problem is I don't see Eagles or Vikings beating the Pats in a Superbowl and I know damn well that I'm sick of seeing NE win.

Couple of those Ravens team, almost beat the Broncos in 2015, Texans team last year. Jaguars are built to fuck Brady up but usually with those types of games the offense is what costs them. Plus the Jags gave up 42 points to the Steelers, so it isn't like they look like world stoppers right now.

From [IMG] to [IMG] in under 5 seconds.

The Vikings deserve it. That poor franchise had some of the best teams in the NFL in the 70's only to run into some of the best teams in NFL history, much less the 1970's.

And then there was their 1987 run, which just fell short at Washington's goal line. And then there was 1998 and the Gary Anderson FG miss.

Huh? They deserve it? The Vikings in my lifetime have been the ultimate choke artists. They have deserved everything they've gotten. Which is zero Superbowl appearances The Eagles haven't won a Superbowl either (at least I can say I saw em in one in 2004) but the Vikings had by far the best team in 98, Denny Green was conservative and they lost a game they shoulda won. Then with Farve in 2009 against the Saints threw a crazy pick at the end when he shoulda just ran it for a couple yards. Blair Walsh choke job a couple years ago. That's who they've always been in my lifetime and I'm 37. Can't comment on the 70s teams.

Having mulled it over for a day now, I still say that Tomlin needs to be put on the hot seat. This team is never winning because of coaching, it’s winning because the Steelers simply have more talented players, and that’s not a good long term formula. He’s overly aggressive in the wrong situations. His playoff record since 2010 is not very good with the only wins being against the ultimate chokers in the Bengals, a lowly Dolphins team led by Matt Moore, and a game against the Chiefs where the offense didn’t score one touchdown. I know the Rooney’s want stability, but you have to look at what the other big team in Pittsburgh, the Penguins, did not too long ago and how that worked out for them. In 2015, they fired their head coach (who had nearly twice as many wins as losses overall with the team) because they didn’t think the team was playing to the best of their abilities. Since then, they had back to back Championship victories. The same could happen here, if they get a coach that can back up his talk. I’m really frustrated with his PC answers of why he didn’t have the team prepared coming out of a bye against Blake Bortles. Todd Haley has to go too obviously. I’ve been saying that since his first year. He avoids obvious play calls like it’s the plague, and he and Ben have never gotten along. It shows in how bad the offense operates on the road when they’re forced to run plays he scripted. Kevin Butler is not the heir apparent to Dick Lebeau like they want him to be. This defense has struggled for too long now. This next off season is the most important one of the last 5 years. Don’t screw it up

The Vikings were without a doubt one of the best teams of the 1970’s with Fran Tarkenton at the helm and the Purple People Eaters on defense. They just had the worst luck of being great like that when the Steelers and Cowboys were too

Yes, that is what I meant of course.

Oh, and the Mississippi State student section was chanting "UCF, UCF, UCF, UCF" during their game against Auburn the other day, lol.....

Not sure to be proud or not....lol....

Almost a perfect made story for the NFL. Except he will not retire. Well, unless Belicheck leaves.

Eh, more people would watch the Eagles vs. Pats. 2 huge market teams, 1 big name QB. The casual fan is not going to appreciate Bortles vs Keenum, or who vs. who?

Ah, they kind beat themselves. Notice how all the Jags had to do was run the ball 3 times and kick a field goal. What did they do? Ran the ball 3x and kicked a field goal. Went up by 10 and there wasn't enough time for the Steelers to win. All the Seahawks needed to do was run Beast Mode. Game Set Match.

The Jags aren't a dumb team.

I really didn't think that Texans D was as good in person as it was on paper. The Jags and the Vikings are legit defenses that could pressure Brady. We all know that pressuring Brady is never good for him. Also, does any one actually believe that the Jags will allow 42 points again?

If the Jags score 21, they win next week.

Exactly. The NFL is a business. It's all about the money.

One other thing that just dawned on me. Who runs the Jaguars ? Tom Coughlin. Who beat the Patriots twice in the SB ? Same guy.

Man the Saturday games sucked, the games on Sunday were awesome to watch.

I believe this is the single change by the owner was the biggest one he's made since he has owned the team and the real reason as to why they are in the championship game. I wonder what Bill was thinking as he was watching the Jags take it to the Steelers for a second time this year.
