On a side note, I hope they use Fasttrack as the head for the larger bot when they make a proper Scorponok. I see no other option since Zarak cannot be the head of a bot the same size as Maximus and be a regular sized headmaster at the same time.

 

Got my Grotusque (and Skullgrin for free shipping) yesterday. Incredibly they didn't even make sure the box was taped shut when they mailed it out--it arrived with one flap wide open, to the point where you could easily see what was in the box! Frankly the air bubbles were probably the only thing that blocked Skullgrin from just falling out during transport.

As to Grotusque, the figure itself is great but the box looks ten years old already--dented corners, tape pulled off and reapplied, creases. I don't care so much about the condition of a featureless, windowless box, but some more attention could have been paid, here.

 

Wow... this toy is amazing. They need to do all Deluxe scale toys like this.

 

Did I hear somewhere that you're willing to ship a Grotusque to the UK? If that is still a possibility, I'd love him. Can't see him ever seeing release at TRU over here..

 

At least yours had air bubbles packed in it. Mine was just bouncing around in the shipping box with the receipt as padding. Made me laugh.

 

Mine was the same way. Fortunately, I don't give a rip about packaging.

 

Yes, had quite a few requests and I'm just getting the first ones on now. I'll let you know if there are any left . Once the first ones are off I'll try to get some more in for people. Sadly I won't be making it back to Europe this month as I'd planned though so shipping is from USA  .

My Grotusque and Arcee shipped today. I hope it's packed in a box this time. When I got Movie Masterpiece Bee it was in a padded envelope and the box was crushed.

 

If you do international shipping through PayPal it seems to be cheaper. I was able to send an Arcee and grotesque to Canada for just under $15

 

A 2 lb small package sent from the US to the UK via First Class with Registered Mail is $37.50. I'd be hesitant to call that 'affordable' let alone 'cheap'. It seems like a more local import option would be a similar cost in the end.

 

I took him down to the post office and they quoted 22.50 without tracking though I believe. We send gifts out each year like this, never had an issue.

 

That's if you do Registered, it's an extra service that's going to drive the price up.

Regular First Class International would be the price mcart was quoted at $22.50, and from my personal experience items I've sent overseas from eBay stuff with a label that was printed online still have a Customs # that can be used for tracking.

 

Yeah printing directly from PayPal is also a little cheaper in my experience.

 

The two(separate orders) I got came in a box. So, you should be fine.

Looks like they added it for free to select countries only. My mistake. But if you don't live in one of those select countries, my opinion is still the same.

 

And to those people I will say that it sucks but they still have some options.

 

I finally ordered Grotusque using $45 store credit. I also got an Activator Soundwave & Laserbeak. I got a shipping notice for Soundwave but not Grotusque. 

 

How are you ordering multiples? I thought it was limited to only 1 per person?
