You know, aside from Blackwing and OP, and perhaps the initial furor of snapping up released deluxes, I feel like most of my POTP purchases are gonna be the Legends figures. They are kinda owning it right now.

I hear you, looking at the forecast figures I'm kind of surprised how many waves/figures I'll be sitting out. After getting pretty into Combiner Wars and super into Titans Return (closest line to completing for me), the fact that not every single figure can interact with each other via a common play pattern has tamped down my reaction to PoTP. I'll be grabbing all the Prime Masters to hang out in my Titans Return diarama, and any Legends besides Tailgate and Skrapnel. But I'm sitting out on the Dinobots, already happy with my Dinobot figures, no need for a new Jazz (curious to see if it's repainted) No need for Starscream (maybe if they do an obscure repaint like Redwing) I'm good on my Inferno, and the only Leader figure I want this time around is Rodimus Unicronus.

Not that there is anything wrong with the line to me, just nothing that says, "you gotta get this toy so it can be a vehicle/base/guy for this toy".

Great episode as always! I had to laugh at the affectionate iguana line in the beginning. It reminded me of something from high school. When I was in high school, one of the grade level principals had an iguana that he kept in his office. When kids got called down, he would hold the freaking thing and pet it like a cat. It was huge. The one time I had to go down there, I thought he was gonna throw him at me. It was awful.
Anyway, you were talking about using other bots for Starscream's combined mode. If we end of getting that shuttle version of Blast Off, you could use the jet version as a random limb. Just a thought.
Regarding the Prime Masters, I am also afraid to keep removing the weapons from them. I don't care what those instructions say.

I can actually help with some of the problems with Starscream's jet mode. The legs coming apart is due to the leg flaps having flash inside the slot. It prevents those panels from pushing in all the way in jet mode. As for the backpack sticking up in the back. Plug the arms into the wings, but not the legs. You can then adjust things so they line up. It doesn't affect the stability much. I may just remove the leg tabs entirely.

Fakebusker also has some feet and null rays on Shapeways, that are nice.

So ya Starscream was totally meant to have the wing section push in and pull out to turn, after an hour or so worth or work mine now functions that way and everything holds together great in all modes.

I knew that had to be the case. That peg and hole back there made it pretty obvious. What exactly did you have to do?

Edit- It should be mention that wing pack may not have been to pop in and out and it is just a case of that post being longer then it should have been.

Vangelus, I'm with you on POTP Optimus. He looks amazing, very Brave which is always a good thing!! However, much like Generations Orion Pax from a few years ago, I will buy him in literally any other color scheme that's not red and blue Optimus Prime :(  Hopefully he at least gets a Dark Convoy/Motormaster release so I can pick him up.

And like that seems Hasbro already caught wind on the Starscream issues. There is a fixed retool out now that tabs together correctly with out work. The retooled one has slots on the red post on the back while the original has a solid red post. My original's box was stamped 72921 and the new one's was stamped 73101.

I am in the same boat as you, I kind of hope we get the toy as part of the Evangeline cross over since I would love that color scheme (Optimis inside a NERV she'll could be cool for a comic) or You know, we got a SG colored Rodimus Unicronus. I would be down to buy an SG colored Optimus Unicronus.

Or maybe there is a cool reshell coming down the road.
