Yea I believe so. I think Alien Attack's is more on the Masterpiece Movie scale, where Unique Toys is its own (awesome!) scale. I think leaders should be 11" to 12". I just opened and reviewed Peru Kill and he is a dream figure man! I can't wait for my Challenger to come in. Buying in China saves me a ton of money too. Still waiting on UT color scheme but Peru Kill/Lockdown is practically perfect. Even has all the major & smaller unseen details in the right spots! Highly recommend!

 

I see this guy as the body Optimus gets in Age of Extinction, and the Unique Toys one for when he upgrades his arms to Knight style, and also his appearance in TLK

Absolutely. Which given that those two are cut from the same cloth would make sense, really. An obvious statement on my part, I know, but AA's Prime not fitting with UT's Lockdown is simply cos they're from two different toylines.

I wouldn't know UT's long term plans with their Movie releases but one thing that isn't surprising is them creating figures that (relatively, I ain't starting fucking Peru-gate again) scale together within their own line. With the 3P Movie scene is in its infancy at this moment in time, such an approach might be considered as securing custom and good business sense.

On that note, Firage - the subject of many online attempts at explaining fitting a square peg into a round hole - looks really good with Alien Attack's Prime for some odd reason too..

Now obviously there's an argument for casting your net as wide as possible to catch as many fish as you can, but then ewww - scale, scale, scale.

I've been looking at this figure and the UT version and there are things I like about both. I will probably end up getting both, but I really hope the UT version has a decent paint job. The UT version has better arms and a better back, but the AA version has a better looking front torso and truck mode. The legs are sort of a toss up and I have to see UT's paint job to really decide.

Sorry but i don't know, I found these pictures on tf-direct's website not weibo. I'm guessing these are maybe shoot's that we're never used in the updated pics.

 

El Cid definitely gives that AOE Optimus feel. He was a bit smaller before the Sword upgraded him to knight status. I'm getting both him and UT Challenger.
