    I doubt anybody at IDW or the artists who create the official designs will lose any sleep about it.

    I want Perfect Effect to make this Megatron. I have the MMC one and it\'s nice but I\'d like to see what PE would do or Maketoys. Also would Love to have a small Iron Factory version of Megatron and Stardrive.

    Agreed. The WFC design was excellent. The FoC version was stupidly over-the-top, pretty much "spikes of villainy" given life. It was stupid.

    His transformation and tank mode resembles that of Titans Return Hardhead (look at where the arms and chest are in tank mode). If Hasbro were to make a deluxe MTMTE Megatron, they could recycle the engineering from Hardhead and change the sculpt. If they wanted to make a voyager, they could just upscale the deluxe and replace the ball joints with universal joints.

    Am I the only one who sees more of a resemblance to Armada Megatron before thinking of Hardhead?

    GCreation can make an IDW "MP" version of Megatron, don't worry!

    And they are already working on a "MP" bomber Megatron!

    Eh, not really feeling either one. The tank looks kind meh, and really phallic with that weird "spear" jutting out from the front. And Stardrive just looks like a typical MTMTE bot, overly human and spikey as shit.

    A tank is my favourite alt-mode for Megatron. I'd love to see this design made into a toy.

    One question though: does the turret not being in the center bother anyone? In the center it would have more freedom to move around. It may be an inevitable part of the design though.

    Looks like a Cybertronian Hardhead.

    Makes the MMC figure inaccurate now, I guess, but for some reason, I think I prefer that somewhat lazy alt mode that MMC came up with.

    Yup. That was my first thought as well, the transformation is just TR Hardhead/Quake with some different greebles in tank mode.

    If Hasbro wanted to do an IDW Megatron, it would be just a retool to do it.

    Its a very simple redo but will be a bit small. Like how stealth bomber megs was too small for some.

    He could definitely be upscaled though to at least voyager size
